Went in recently after another seamstress cancelled on me. Was super thankful they could get me in on such short notice. I had two things done to my dress- 1 was to shorten it to my height, and 2 was to add a bow that came with my dress. The length on my dress seems to be perfect. However, I was very specific about where I wanted the bow to go on my dress. I had a specific part I wanted to cover up. When I went to pick my dress up I wasn’t offered the opportunity to try it on to make sure I was pleased with it. Just picked it up, paid, and left. I had no issue with that because we had gone over where everything was meant to go. I have finally had the opportunity to pull my dress out of the bag, and the bow is nowhere near where I asked for it to be. It’s on the side I asked for, but when I put it on, it’s so far over you can hardly see it. It was supposed to go more toward the middle of that side. I had one small spot I wanted to hide with it, and it’s still exposed. This is for the Marine Corps ball, and I leave tomorrow and live 40+ minutes away from Sew Irresistible. I have no way of having it fixed at this point. Had I known it wouldn’t go where I wanted it to I would have left the whole thing off completely. If you need length fixed, they’re great, but anything else I wouldn’t chance.
