Seems like it's to modernized. Not like it was in 2024, disappointed.

I just LOVE this place! I honestly wish there were a Ben Franklin store in lower Michigan. We visited this one in the U.P. last week while on vacation. Our plans were to go there during the 2025 All Michigan Quilt Shop Hop this summer but hubby had unexpected triple bypass heart surgery in June so we couldn’t make the trip. They were participating this year for the first time and I wanted to collect the store quilt block token from the Shop Hop. Well, much to my delight, when we visited this store and was talking to the ladies working there, one of them went in the back and brought me out one of their store quilt blocks and gave it to me! I’m telling you, that just made my day! Hubby was with me, as well as our son and his baby daughter, our newest grandchild. Grampa found a cute toy in the store and bought it for her. We had such a wonderful time shopping here and will definitely make it a point to shop again whenever we visit the U.P. The staff was engaging and friendly and there was such a variety of items available. The store was clean and bright and well-stocked. 5 Stars to the Ben Franklin in Manistique, MI!!

Good quality fabrics along with lower bulk type fabrics as well, fat quarters, batting, kits, panels, wool supplies along with many other crafty supplies and touristy products down the aisle.

Very neat store, lots of Interesting items, but the store runs on a minimal staff because of our current "Bidenflation" Economy so be prepared to wait for help or look around yourself, you may end up finding something very cool, at very reasonable prices. Beware of their hours as like most shops downtown they close fairly early and are NOT open on Sunday's. Lots of T-Shirts, and they are made in town so you end up supporting the local economy.
