Tamara was such a pleasure to work with. I cannot praise her attentiveness and professionalism enough! I was in the Chicago area for business and after trying to get a couple of businesses where I lived to monogram a large letter M for me (they either didn't have a large enough hoop or said they could do the work but never touched it after months), I decided to see if I could find a place in Chicago up to the job. Well my first few phone calls didn't go over well. Even though most places I looked up said they did embroidery or monogramming, I was told they didn't have a large enough hoop, they only did embroidery not monogramming (like c'mon a letter is a lot easier than a picture), or the customer service over the phone was flat out rude and unprofessional. Finally, I called Embroidery Zone and Tamara was so helpful and such a pleasure. I had a big project where I needed the fabric sewn together and then monogrammed as well as a couple of small items. I had so much trouble finding someone to do my large project that I was ready to give up after two years of trying to get it done. Tamara met with me several times to get everything just right and even stayed late sometimes as I was working in Batavia and had to get through rush hour traffic to meet her. She special ordered a beautiful metallic thread just for my project and recommended a wonderful alteration service that lined up the pattern on my fabric, sewed, and pressed it perfectly. I am from the South and Tamara surpassed any customer service I have ever received by far! She and her husband were so nice and she really went above and beyond. After the trouble I had dealing with other shop owners she made my experience so pleasurable. Not only was her customer service good but her work and turn around times are impeccable. She was very concerned with making sure that I was satisfied and I loved the way my laptop bag, tote, and headboard fabric came out. My final headboard is gorgeous and she played such a large part in getting it to completion. Her prices were also very reasonable and affordable and if I ever need something else done I will ship it from out of town! I am an Embroidery Zone fan & customer for life!
