I love this shop and hope that they will be here forever. Everyone is so friendly and helpful with anyone who comes in needing anything to do with sewing or sewing machine.

Couldn’t get my machine to work so I brought it in here. Steve was so nice and genuine! He’s very experienced, does a wonderful service, and I’m grateful for his help.

I think I will be a long time return customer here. The employees were all kind, professional, and pleasant. The selection is huge, on top of being right by mill end. They fixed my sewing machine immediately and showed me how to avoid the issue again, in a hands on way that you can't get from a tutorial. I'm excited to come back to take classes with these lovely people!

I had a very odd experience here. I called ahead to buy a Juki model. Upon arrival they let me test the machine. During testing, the new machine broke. They took it in the back to "fix" it, but during the quick repair they misaligned the upper looper and it was making a terrible sound. They took it back and then after about 30 minutes total, told me that model was defective. That was enough for the day but the rep kept asking me to wait around while she "checked" if there were any other models they could order for me. I knew what model I wanted. After another 15 minutes, I said I needed to head out. All in all, I was there for about 45 minutes and never got to take home a machine.

The experience of shopping and purchasing sewing machine or supplies is always great. In the last 10 years I've purchased/traded 5 sergers and 9 sewing and/or embroidery machines. Every 'deal' has been fair and EVERY machine has be brilliantly supported by Montavilla. Never a worry if I purchase a machine from Montavilla.
