Lantz Homestead Quilt Barn

We feel honored and privileged to have meelt John and Rachel Lantz! They went above and beyond by accommodating us outside of business hours, so that one of our party, a quilter who would soon be returning to Ireland, could experience the wonder of Lantz Quilts. Their flexibility, professionalism, and genuine kindness were exemplary. It’s rare to find people so willing share their knowledge and skills with others. We are very grateful. What a gem of a place!!! It's worth the trip to check this store out. The quilts are amazing and beautifully displayed. Also, they have cute home decor items. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely go back.

This is my second quilt from the Lantz Homestead quilt barn. I just happened to stumble across them on facebook when looking for Amish quilts. The first I ordered from available quilts. Not only was it stunning but they put lots of care into the packaging and shipping of the quilt. There is so much variety to choose from. My second quilt was a special order as I really wanted a tumbling block quilt all in beiges. My husband sleeps more soundly under the quilt because the weight is lovely. Rachael lovely to deal with. You won't be disappointed if you purchase from them.

We followed a horse and buggy almost the whole way to this quaint quilt shop in a former corn crib! John Lantz greeted us warmly and we were amazed at his ingenious rotating quilt display. It made it so easy to see all of their gorgeous quilts. The hand stitching is so tiny and perfect that it’s incredible! I found a beautiful teal quilt that I felt was made just for me! I had been looking for a teal quilt for a bedroom that we are finishing right now and the pattern was Flying Geese. It reminds me of my grandma, who lived in Lancaster. The day she died, she was wearing pajamas with flying geese on them. After she died, my mom asked God for a sign that her mom was OK and she and her sisters walked out of the nursing home and 2 flying geese went by. My mom felt like her prayer was answered and that was a sign that her mom was back with her dad. So when I saw the quilt, I just had to get it!! John and Rachel are delightful to get to know. Thank you for keeping this heirloom craft alive! They also have the most beautiful mums for an amazingly low price!

The most beautiful quilts you will ever come across. It's away from the busy center but well worth just 10 minutes away. My husband bought me my first quilt after wanting one for over 30 years and now I want more. They are not cheap but you are paying for a quality heirloom. Worth saving all your pennies.
