Lauren took an embroidered quilt top that my Grandmother did in the 1930’s and turned into a lovely quilt. This quilt top was something I remember seeing shoved in the back of our linen closet when I was a kid. Now I can be comforted by something made by my Mother’s Mother - a women I never met but now I have a beautiful quilt stitched by her!

I found Lauren & CCQC by chance when I was searching for longarm quilting services near me to do the finishing quilting and binding for a special baby quilt I made for a friend. I am a very novice quilter, this was my first sewing project in about 20 years, and I had never prepped a quilt for longarm quilting before, but Lauren was able to work with me to get the quilt to the finish line (and beautifully done!). She was responsive to messages, provided me with the information I needed to prep my quilt, and was still able to work with what I had, even after I realized I had made an error in my measurements and didn't have quite as much extra backing as is ideal to load in the longarm machine. She helped me choose the perfect thread color and stitching pattern for the quilt (there were a ton to choose from!) and I can't imagine there being anything more perfect out there for this quilt. Lauren is a very skilled and experienced quilter and she did phenomenal work. She definitely elevated this quilt to the next level (a few levels, if I'm honest). The turnaround time was quick and her pricing was very reasonable! 10/10 would bring any quilting projects to her in the future and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for services that CCQC offers!
