Sewing Room

I had such an amazing experience at The Sewing Room! I’ve been looking for a sewing machine for a while, but as a beginner, everything online felt overwhelming and confusing. I honestly didn’t know where to start. I just happened to be in the plaza, saw the sign, and decided to call first to see if they even sold machines. When they said yes, I turned right around and came in and I’m so glad I did. Walking in, I saw some high-end machines and thought, “Okay wait… maybe this isn’t my store.” But the moment I spoke with Charlotte, everything changed. I told her I was just starting out and wanted something affordable, and she really took her time to understand what I needed. She didn’t rush me or try to upsell me she educated me. She showed me a few options, and I ended up choosing the Brother Pacesetter 300T for $349, which was perfect for me. It had the features I was looking for and felt like the right step up without being overwhelming. Charlotte made the whole experience feel so comfortable and fun she was kind, patient, and had me laughing the whole time. I left feeling confident in my purchase. Greg also came over and helped, and his energy was just as great. He even helped bring the machine out to my car, which I appreciated so much. The store itself is beautiful and inspiring it really makes you want to start sewing immediately. You can tell they care about their customers, and they have great pricing and warranties as well. The only small issue was that my power cord wasn’t in the bag, so I wasn’t able to use the machine right away. I’ll be stopping back in to grab it but even with that, my overall experience was still amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all my sewing needs. This place made me feel excited to start my journey, and that means everything.

Stopped in for some safety pins to solve a marathon placard attachment emergency. They only had a large box and the clerk just gave me the 4 pins I needed. I don't sew, but I got exactly what I needed from these nice people!

I’m so happy with my new Baby Lock. Lee was incredibly helpful and guided me through the options on each machine. The whole shop was friendly and professional. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Amazing people and service!! I have a simple box store sewing machine that started messing up and stopped working. They were willing to take a look at it and swap out a part to make it run again and more efficiently. Thank you so much for the help and for allowing me to get back to my sewing project so quickly. I will definitely be going back to their store for any more sewing troubles and one day a fancier sewing machine!!

Went into The Sewing Room for supplies for the Party Ribbons smocking plate. It has been discontinued so they didn’t have a copy. None of us could remember how much of each color ribbon was needed, so we all started Googling it with no luck. I am posting the directions here for future reference. 😊

I've been in to the Sewing Room several times and always been greeted cheerfully and allowed to browse. If I had any questions Greg and the ladies have been so helpful! Sometimes I'm just in to dream and look at everything, but when I went in to purchase a machine with a generous throat, they let me sit down and try the machines until I decided on the machine to take home. I love this store and the staff! March 2023 Update Greg and my husband just installed my new Regalia, Kinetic frame and ProStitcher automation package. What an absolute joy this setup is. The day after the install Greg sent his quilting specialist, Michelle Guffy, to walk me through just about everything on the new setup. I've only had it in house 3 days, but I'm absolutely in LOVE! Greg and The Sewing Room customer service and support is beyond anything I've ever experienced. I cannot recommend The Sewing Room more. Gregg, his staff, and the shop with all it offers is the best experience.

Yesterday was the first time I stepped foot into The Sewing Room and it definitely will not be my last. The entire staff are the nicest people I have ever met. The owner, Greg, went above and beyond with his expertise and customer service of helping me buy a new embroidery machine. You really don’t find many people, let alone businesses, that have the sincerity they all display. I cannot say thank you enough to them all!

I have been to the Sewing Room several times and purchased online as well. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They have beautiful fabrics and heirloom patterns and laces. I have had my sewing/embroidery machine serviced there and was very pleased with the work.
