Jeannie is truly a master at what she does. I had my draperies done by my designer in Chicago since I didn’t know anyone here in Tucson. Everything was fine until we went to hang the cornice in our master bedroom…it was too small so I couldn’t fathom paying to build a new one so I began looking around. Jeannie responded immediately and when I brought it in, she immediately said she could fix it. She painstakingly worked through all the glue, material and staples and reduced the side board on both sides in order to make it larger. When finished, it turned out amazing. She is magic and cannot believe how beautiful it looks. I am indebted to her kindness, professionalism and positive attitude. I would highly recommend her for your drapery needs.

The Fabric Jeanie is amazing! Her knowledge and expertise of fabrics for home decor is exceptional, her creativity is off the chart, and the quality of her workmanship is outstanding. She has a great selection of quality fabrics in the showroom and also has many books from which to select and order fabric. She has a team of skilled staff so her turnaround is very quick, without sacrificing quality. She does pillows, curtains, bedskirts, custom ottomans, furniture upholstery and just about anything you can think of for a well-dressed home! I have had so much fun working with Fabric Jeanie to decorate our new home in Tucson. I highly recommend this successful, woman-owned business.

Absolutely the most frustrating experience with any business owner we have ever had. Hired Jeanie to recover our vintage couch. We discussed that it need re-upholstering, re-stuffing the cushions with high density foam and refinishing the wood. She told us it would take 3 weeks to finish. After 6 weeks having heard nothing from Jeanie, we called and asked when our couch would be done. She stated the couch was not done and proceeded to give us a litany of excuses why it wasn't done yet and that it would be done in a week. When we didn't hear from her again we called asking for an ETA, which inspired another litany of excuses of why it still wasn't done (medical, heat, employees, etc). This continued until she finally delivered our couch after 10 weeks of having tin her shop. We had to leave the following day for a planned trip and when we returned we finally got to sit on our couch. The cushions were so soft they compressed almost flat when sat on. They were not even as firm as when we gave her the couch and it had been 30 years since they were done. We had the same experience as a previous reviewer in that she didn't answer emails or texts and if she did she made all kinds of excuses as to why we should accept the couch in this condition. She finally agreed to come look at it but couldn't find time due to other jobs, medical problems, employee problems, etc. We finally gave her an ultimatum with a date that she needed to confirm or we were going to take it to another upholsterer. She didn't confirm until the time she was supposed to be at our house so we told her we had already hired Chavez Upholstery and not to bother coming. Chavez Upholstery did the job in less than a week and not only made the cushions usable but repaired the springs which were old as well. Jeannie had said the springs didn't need repairing. She was less expensive than the quote we originally got from Chavez but this experience really proves the old adage "you get what you pay for". Buyer beware!
