After waiting over five months we were finally able to pick up our completed quilt at the time I was told they used Bamboo batting ( which I knew nothing about as no one called to talk to either one of us about it - never heard of it).They used the beautiful multi-colored thread I requested but, did what I consider to be a very minimal amount of quilting. In some places there are 6 to 7 inches between quilt stitches. Since the quilt was titled Figs &Jelly I wanted a leaf pattern but I never dreamed the leaves would be so large and far apart.. I've read that there is a good chance that when this quilt is washed and dried the larger areas with no quilting stitches the batting can bunch up making a big mess. Guess we'll have to wait and see.In any case we paid over $200.00 for quilting work on a quilt top that does nothing to enhence it or make it the outstanding quilt I thought it could be. My mother used to say it was the quilting that makes the quilt - not in this case. Just makes me extremely disappointed in the work and sad I didn't take it back when I asked to have it returned to me several months back. No worries though, this is the last one I'll bring in.NEVER in all the quilts you have done for me have I been this disappointed and upset. I thought you should know.

Cute fabric store with lots of fabric choices! Nicely organized and a yarn room with more yarn than I expected! Staff was helpful but not hovering which was really nice! Pleasant to talk to and great advice. I will be back when I’m in Montrose!

What a great quilt and yarn shop!! Beautiful quilts displayed on the walls, an amazing array of gorgeous quilting fabrics, great books and patterns, fabulous yarns, and lots of classes offered. Something for every quilter here. The owner, Sue Lorimer, was fabulous to work with - super knowledgeable and great customer service. This shop is a must stop for every quilter! Love it!

I love this shop! I am making a signature wedding quilt and wanted the bride-to-be to pick her fabric and colors. She is not a quilter. Sue spent the time with her to pick her colors and placement. We all left happy! Thanks Sue!
