I drove 25 miles to this shop hoping to establish face to face support with my Husqvarna Ruby 90 that I purchased new just as Joann's announced they were closing. Needless to say it was a wasted trip. The Husqvarna Viking dealer in the shop stated that because I didn't buy my machine from her she would charge me $75 per hour for the help. Apparently, she doesn't know or care how many owners are within 100 miles of her. She can't be aware of commerce because she is not considering the volume of new customers coming into the shop. I immediately left the shop, headed to my car and called customer service to make a complaint. It's a good thing I stocked up on supplies. When I have a need for them I will be ordering online. I will never show my face there again. Yep, 1 star because they lady at the front of the store was very nice.

Came to visit from out of town ans found a lovely variety of fabrics all at reasonable prices. The lady's working are friendly and personable.

I brought a Viking Husqvarna 3610 in for service that I received as a gift from my Mom when she bought a new machine. It had been sitting unused for quite some time and was apparently seized up. It took a while, but they got it working again. It’s running great, and I’ll definitely bring it back to Harper’s again next time it’s due for service! Thank you! Having fun sewing again!

Updating this review….While thee class being cancelled was still really frustrating, they did offer to refund my cost, which was very nice. I understand mistakes can be made. It’s what you do about those mistakes when they happen that really matters. Also, when I went in to get pick up my machine, the woman behind the counter and I had such a nice conversation. She was very personable and friendly. I would give them another chance. ******** I’m so frustrated with this store. I took my sewing machine over there to be repaired almost 4 weeks ago. They told me it would be three weeks before it was done because they were backed up. I patiently waited 3 weeks. When I called back after three weeks they told me it wasn’t ready yet and to check back on Wednesday. I ended up signing up for a sewing class on that same Wednesday. I figured if I was going to drive the 45 minutes to the store, I could do something else while I was there. I paid for my class and yesterday I received a confirmation reminder about the class tonight. I drove all the way over there and sat there for almost 20 minutes and NO ONE showed up! What a total waste of my time and gas! Now I’ll have to drive back when/if they ever get my machine fixed.

Took a hand embroidery class with Jackie and absolutely loved it! The shop is adorable and the class was affordable and informative. Will definitely return.
