Midwest Sewing & Vacuum Center

I went in because my Brother machine had tension issues. They were super kind, gave it a look over and held it for a couple days till they could look a little closer. I get a call back saying they dont have the parts to fix my machine because they do not specialize in Brother. Even though they were not able to fix the machine theh were extremely nice, able to tell me what was wrong, and recommended somewhere else to go. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff in there is super nice and welcoming. My old machine never got fixed because it would cost more to fix than the machine was worth. However, it's would definitely get my next machine from them!

My friend purchase a part for her machine then tried to return it. They only have store credit returns. She was not aware of that. They sell 5-6 thousand dollar machines. They can’t give a store refund of $68 that doesn’t seem right. What makes a person return to a store. Getting good service and help understanding problems. Having good machines. My friend is on social security and try’s to use her money wisely. Her machine is very heavy not easily moveable. She purchased plate for her machine and ask if she could return it they said sure. Never said store credit for returns So if any one would ask me about Midwest sewing I wonder what I might say. Is this review worth $68?

I am so glad I went back and talked to the people. Because the lady that sold me, my machine lied to me 2 years now. I could have had some 1 on 1 time with somebody to help me with my questions. I'm very happy that I went back in even though I did not buy a surger. I would like to put one on layaway didn't never get the answer to the question, how much do I need to put down

I went in for the first time to Midwest Sewing & Vacuum Center Thursday January 22, 2025. WOW - from the phone call I made to walking in the door Kim was so sweet. She showed me used sewing machines and new ones and didn't push me towards spending more that I wanted to. I told her what I needed and she let me pick the one I thought would fit my needs without any pressure. Kim got me all fixed up and on my way to continue my re-found interest in sewing after my old machine broke down. I would highly recommend Kim at Midwest Sewing & Vacuum Center, she is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

They always take great care of my vacuum here. I got a very effective clean max carpet pro from them a few years back and she is still running well thanks to them.
