Blanca was precise and helped me get the perfect length for each of them. Each of them had varying hem styles and Blanca was great in ensuring we could preserve the original hem style. Thank you!

Really recommend the team at Alts Brooklyn Heights. Tatyana made my vintage wedding dress into a dream come true! I bought a vintage dress a size larger than my true size and she led me through the alteration process with absolute professionalism and expertise. I did not know what to expect during the alteration process and she talked me through it in a way I could easily understand and make decisions on to get it perfect for my vision. She took the time to point out which original flaws the dress had so I could photograph them for easy communication to my future dry cleaner to prep the gown to perfection. I could not have been happier with the outcome. The front desk and Tatyana made the alteration process the least stressful part of my wedding preparation and the final product was impeccably tailored and delivered with plenty of time.

Tatyana did an incredible job with my bridal gown, she listened to my concerns and thoughts and executed on them pristinely. She explained and demonstrated all of my options and let me choose what I’d like to do. My dress was hemmed and taken in perfectly, and in a very timely manner. Oksana is incredibly skilled and gracious. She beautifully hemmed a silk gown for me, and has just solved the problem about how to make an alteration to a vintage silk Catherine Walker dress that I bought in London at the Chelsea Design Company 40 years ago and want to wear again. Her sense of style is as great as her knowledge, and I feel very fortunate to have her artistry and care. Corina at reception is so lovely and accommodating. I had a wonderful bridal alterations experience with Ian at the Brooklyn Heights Alts. I needed to get my wedding dress hemmed and bustled and it was a very easy and low stress process. Ian took careful attention to the little details and created a perfect bustle that just made it look as though it was a second, shorter version of my gown. Ian took a video of how to bustle the hem as well so my sister could have a reference for my wedding day. On my final appointment the staff had both my dress and veil steamed and gave me champagne to take home too. I had purchased my dress online and did not have a bridal shop experience, but getting my dress altered at Alts really gave me a similar experience of excitement and a confidence boost surrounding my dress.
