Gift Man

My son and I came across this quaint gift shop on 5th Ave. It has a wide selection of souvenirs and gifts - perfect for the home and also children. I remember it also sells clothing, mainly with ‘Brooklyn’ embroidered by the store, so I was happy to support this local business.

Buyer BEWARE MAGDALENA THE OWNER WILL THREATEN POLICE THEN TAKE IT BACK WHEN SHE KNOWS SHES WRONG POST THE VIDEO AND SHOW THE WORLD WHAT YOU DID ! The video should be saved ! It shows me teaching you before I decide you’re not worth my time. They call police on you when they’re in the wrong. Careful they threaten police for a complaint ! if you go here and you’re a POC they’ll deny you service for no reason then when you complain for a legitimate reason they’ll threaten police involvement. These people are heartless and indiscriminately discriminate. The video footage is very clear that I snatch the dollar directly out of her hand after our interaction. In their video I show her both my wallet and the bill, I walk her through all the security features of a 10$ bill on the camera and I say to her “maam this is clearly a real bil” She proceeds to ACCEPT it from my hand begrudgingly and it’s at this point that I lose my patience and literally take it from her, say “this was incredibly rude I don’t think I even want these items anymore at this point” and then I walk out.I don’t even yell or raise my voice. These people are claiming some malfeasance when they are in the wrong. Please I dare you to send this to police. Post it online to show what happened ! You’re lying and changing the story to cover your behind ! I never even raised my voice to anything in the store you’re just being rude. They’ll watch you like a hawk and then accuse you of having fake money when they don’t even know how to check a bill. Definitely pass on this place as it’s not worth anyone’s time. I walked them through every check in the bill. The line the face and the raised 10. They accepted that it was real but by then I was so annoyed from having to defend a 10$ bill. Who would counterfeit one of those ? Who?? Then they say disrespect isn’t allowed in the shop. Like yes it’s not allowed so why did you do it ? Glad I didn’t end up buying the item especially with not even an apology for the event in a reply here. Avoid at all costs. Just cause it’s been around doesn’t mean it’s good. This place is rude and a waste of time.

What an amazing little shop in the neighborhood! You can find gifts for any occasion for your loved ones and kids. But the most amazing part is that you can order and design your own merchandise.

Small and very very nice shop in Brooklyn,Mrs owner is so kind and helpful .so nice talks with her. I think is difficult to find Brooklyn gifts in uptown ,something is expensive and low quantity , but I find everything I like and wanted at here. If you wanna buy something different for a Brooklyn memory / gifts ,this is THE BEST SELECTION IN NYC.
