From the moment I walked into Soul Collection’s Sewing Lounge, I felt right at home. The family who runs the studio has created such a warm and friendly environment. I was a complete beginner, but Shannon was incredibly patient, breaking down every step and I never felt overwhelmed. What I really appreciated was the personal attention. My son and daughter just discovered Soul Collection's sewing camp and it has been fantastic. Sewing is a great skill for anyone and everyone to have, and I am so happy that this hidden gem is nearby. The space is full of light and well air conditioned, and a huge plus is pizza lunch daily. The camp pricing is very reasonable, and the hours are awesome (9-3 or 9-5). Ms Shannon and the staff are approachable, kind, and know how to teach. I was surprised with the progress the kids made in just a few days. We hope to return for school holiday camps in the future. I recently completed a four-week beginner class at Soul Collections, and I can't recommend it highly enough! My instructors were exceptional, providing the perfect balance of hands-on guidance and allowing me the space to make mistakes and learn from them. From the very first class, I felt comfortable with my sewing machine thanks to the detailed explanations and patient instruction. The instructor's ability to break down complex techniques into manageable steps made the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. They gave me the confidence to experiment and truly understand the mechanics of sewing. Each class built on the last, and I found myself looking forward to each session with excitement. By the end of the four weeks, I was amazed at how much I had learned and how comfortable I had become with my sewing machine. Soul Collections is the perfect place for anyone looking to learn how to sew, whether you're a complete beginner like I was or looking to refine your skills. I highly recommend it!
