Great experience! I needed my skirt altered for a trip I was going on the next day and they were able to do the job within a few hours. I had previously taken my skirt to get altered at a different tailor and they did not do a great job so I took it here to get fixed. I’m so happy with how it turned out! This was a very delicate beaded skirt and they did an amazing job. Thank you!!!!

I don't understand how this guy has such a high rating. I dropped off a wool coat here about 2 years ago, came by the following week and it wasn't ready. I came back again another week or two later and it didn't fit my hips properly so we had to make adjustments again. I specifically remember having to come by this place *four* times in total until I got what I wanted. I paid $100 and the craftsmanship was mid at best, and lazy in some places at worst. I am sure they are going to respond to this comment arguing that it's not true, but just look at this picture of the sleeve- it speaks for itself.

I can't recommend Teodoor highly enough - he's a true master of his craft, and someone you can fully trust with your most important garments. We brought in my daughter's First Communion dress, which was far too big-both in length and fit. From across the room, without even touching the dress, Teodoor assessed exactly what needed to be done. I was amazed. He simply looked at me, smiled, and confidently told me the alterations he planned to make. I was skeptical at first-how could he know without measuring? So he pulled out his ruler, called out the measurements, and showed me how perfectly they matched the adjustments he described. He was spot-on, even with the delicate lace at the bottom of the dress. A few days later, my daughter tried on the dress again-and her face lit up with joy. It fit beautifully. You can tell Teodoor takes deep pride in his work, and that the happiness of his customers fuels his passion. My family has been going to Teodoor for years, and he has never once disappointed. If you're looking for a skilled, trustworthy tailor who truly cares about his work-and his clients - Teodoor is the one.

Wedding dress alterations: I used Teodor Tailor to alter my wedding dress. He was quick to respond and set up an appointment. I needed the dress brought in, hemmed, and bustled which he did all three of. I had to go back in a couple times for additional alterations, but he did them at no extra charge. The dress ended up fitting extremely well.

I thought very carefully about whether to post this for a long while. I worked with Samuel on my wedding dress in 2022. I needed to hem the bottom and train and take in the bust to remove a gape. He did great with the hem, but he consistently refused to touch the bust for 6 weeks. The job required taking out a seam from pit to waist and professional skill. He was going through a rough transition at the time, moving his office unexpectedly which caused delays. I was patient and as understanding as possible. The hem was done the day before I left for my wedding. He never touched the bust; the gape was still there and he insisted no one would notice. I didn't feel heard, and I didn't get what I asked for. Did it ruin my wedding? Zero percent. But I can't say the same for the photos of the day. The dress collapsing on itself or the bust gape is the second thing I see after the big smiles in the photo. I don't share this to be malicious. I'm sharing this to inform your decision and/or how you advocate for yourself with Samuel.
