Bloom is one of my all time favorite quilt shops. They have beautiful fabric, awesome classes, and the most kind and helpful mother/daughter staff. The only reason I haven't done a retreat is because I live 15 minutes away.

We stayed at Bloom for a retreat weekend. This was a relaxing time spent sewing and bonding with friends. The rooms were comfortable an d felt like home away from home. We will definitely be planning a return trip to Bloom soon.

My girlfriends and I recently had a retreat weekend at Bloom. It was the best retreat we have ever been on. The shop and living quarters are amazing. Lori and Katie were so friendly and accommodating. The retreat area is truly a haven for relaxation, creativity, and just all around good karma. I would highly recommend this retreat facility for any quilter or anyone interested in fabric arts. The workspace was planned out beautifully as was the living quarters and kitchen area. Also, the shop is fully stocked with beautiful fabrics, tools, sewing supplies, yarns and basically anything you would need to complete your project. The entire space is filled with beautiful quilts that provided a marvelous inspiration for creativity. We came home relaxed, inspired and looking forward to our next visit to Bloom! Karen Halpern

This is a beautiful quilt shop with such a nice selection of fabrics. I’ve found so many gems in this shop, from jelly rolls, to canvas, and of course yards of quilting cotton! They also have some yarn and other crafts kits and supplies. A must visit for crafters in the area!

6 friends met at Bloom Retreat with various projects to do. The weather was cold and sleety and ugly, so we loved hibernating in the cozy retreat for a weekend of laughter and fabric arts!!!! The rooms are lovely,giving us a coddled feeling. The store, attached to the retreat, is fully equipped with pretty fabrics and supplies. That is a huge bonus. Katie, proprietor, was helpful and fun. We ate our breakfasts in , and enjoyed stretching our legs with a short walk for lunches and dinner. . Little Margaretville has a surprising number of shops in which to indulge. I recommend you congregate with some friends or come to make new ones ...at BLOOM FABRIC,ART & RETREAT.
