I couldn’t have asked for a better person to alter my wedding dress than Elaine . She was incredibly talented, patient, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. From the very first fitting, she made me feel comfortable and confident, and she truly brought my vision to life. Her work was flawless, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her craft. I’m beyond grateful for all her hard work and highly recommend her to any bride looking for someone trustworthy and skilled!

I came in last minute to have a pair of jeans repaired, and the team was amazing. Farida was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire patching process and what the final result would look like. She turned them around so quickly and had them ready in time for my event on Friday. Jay at the front was also so welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked. I’ll definitely be back!

She did an absolutely fabulous job with my wedding dress, is last minute saving my afterparty dress, and all in all is a beautiful lovely human who has been such a light (especially given the absolute horror of bridal sales people). I came in on a Wednesday with an amazing lace dress that was now a tad small for me, which I needed for a wedding on Sunday. Farida was amazing!! I didn’t think it would even be possible to take it out, but she did it in ten minutes on the spot by taking our one seam so I can wear it for the wedding, and told me to come back after for a full fix (adding lace). I recommend!

Milan and Elaine were incredibly kind and helpful. I brought in a wedding dress that’s too small to see what my options were. I came a bit too early to get it altered, but Elaine thoroughly evaluated it and walked me through all my options for when I come back in the early spring. She gave me a ton of helpful information, as did Milan!

The entire staff from greeting to tailors, were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met! Not only is the studio GORGEOUS, but they are so attentive to every detail! I came in last minute hoping to get an intricate evening gown tailored at the waist and hip done by next day -and they made it happen. Affordable pricing for a Manhattan luxury service. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Their work is high quality, and items are always ready when promised, with a quick-turnaround option available. I've used them 4 times now over 2 months with a 100% success rate! I also appreciate their expert tailoring advice. They handle everything from larger alterations to small repairs, and I feel completely confident entrusting them with designer clothes. The entire team, both the tailors and the front desk staff, are always friendly and and professional. Today, Elaine even handled a small repair on my sweater quickly and without charge!
