Jeanne is so helpful! I’m just getting back into quilting, and the classes and open sew time make it so easy. She also has beautiful fabrics, so don’t wait! 🧵

I took a beginning quilting class here recently and it was the best experience. Jeanne (the owner) was so wonderful, patient, and engaged with her students and because of her, I feel a lot more confident in my quilting journey. I highly recommend visiting this shop and/or taking their classes!

I stopped in with my toddler today for the first time, and wow, it exceeded my expectations. The store is bright and clean and the staff were SO friendly. They have a great mix of modern and traditional fabrics, which is so refreshing to see as a "younger" beginner quilter. I was really excited to see that they offer a variety of classes and even have an Open-sew day. Staff answered all of my questions and even offered to lend books from their little quilting library. I can't believe we have such a great store in little Oneonta. I also wanted to say, that it's hard to know as a first time mom if a toddler will be welcome in speciality stores like this. From the moment we walked in, they made us both feel SO welcome. They even had a kids corners with little quilted books. I will definitely be back for fabric and classes :)

Leatherstocking Quilts is a great new shop in Oneonta! The staff is friendly, and they have some beautiful fabrics. It’s definitely worth stopping in.
