Such an Eclectic and Charming Fabric Arts Store! You walk in through a section of discounted fabric scraps and notions that make your senses perk up right away! A few more steps and now you’re in the main fabric area. Gorgeous, rich, unique, tactile, and the brilliant ladies working there are so nice and welcoming, ready to answer any questions you may have. I did buy a couple of sewing panels that were supposed to be for making a fabric book but I didn’t check them out well enough and got home to find some missing panels. That was completely on me as I should have paid more attention to what I was buying - it was only a $3 and a $2 panel, and now I have a great reason to go back! Highly recommend Village Fabric Shop in Winston Salem, NC

A nice little fabric shop. Great fabric selection. The cabinet of vintage patterns is mostly from the 80s and 70s and are a wide arrangement - I found a 70s knitting pattern booklet! I like the brand of patterns they carry, since they are not the usual McCall's/Simplicity/Butterick brands. The shop also had a decent assortment of beginner's embroidery and needle felting kits. I'll be back!

We visited this cute little fabric shop while passing through Winston Salem. The young lady working was so professional and friendly, and helped a customer choose fabrics for a baby quilt while we browsed. They have a nice selection of contemporary prints and solids, some quilting fabrics as well as garment fabrics. The shop’s setting is idyllic as well, with other cute shops nearby and a park. Overall just a quaint place to spend some time.

When I tell you this is my favorite place on earth I’m not exaggerating. I live two hours away and I will use every excuse to come see the amazing crew at The Village Fabric Shop. Their selection is perfect — amazing combination of high end fabric to regular everyday fabric, quilting fabrics to hard to find apparel fabrics, embroidery kits to every sewing accessory you could need. Don’t even get me started on the magically place that is the reuse shop in the back. They are kind, helpful and so knowledgeable. Seems to me like I need to take another trip back ASAP! Supporting small has never been easier

It’s really such an honor to have access to such beautiful materials in Winston Salem. This shop always has the most up to date, classic and modern fabrics. They even had clothing patterns in plus size (small thing, but it made me feel welcome). The shop keeper was so kind and didn’t rush me even though I was there close to closing. If you need inspiration for your sewing projects, plan your visit now!
