Zinck's Fabric Outlet (Berlin)

Such a large and great selection of quilting cotton, zippers, batting, etc. Everything is always neat and organized. Cotton ranges from $6/$10ish a yard and the clearance is ~$2/yard. The past few times that I’ve been, Lily has helped me and she has been so nice and wonderful. She sold me the fabric for my very first quilt and have made many since. I love coming here when I am ever out that way!

Zinck's is so great, I drove about an hour from the Cleveland area just to come here and shop. Zinck's has a ton of fabric and panels (nicely displayed in their ceiling space to see the panels) at great prices. As a quilter on a budget it is worth the drive to pile up on fabric for numerous projects compared to smaller local craft stores. Their stock can get purchased fairly quickly so some bolts were missing, but overall they have a lot of options. I follow their Facebook where they post their incoming fabric and hours if weather requires the shop to close. Also right outside of the main downtown of Berlin so stop by other local shops during your trip. Not enough to make me deduce a star, but one fabric purchased on my last visit smelled (I purchased roughly 10 different fabrics and only one smelled) and I decided to pre-wash the fabric for that quilt as I did not want to work with the fabric that smelled, but after one wash and dry it was fine.

I visited the Berlin store in early February, and was pleased to find all I needed for 4 upcoming baby quilts. Their prices are amazing ! I love shopping here since I have few options in my area (wear of Columbus and north of Dayton). I have never walked away from this store without crafting or quilting supplies in my bag. I visit at least once a year when our Church organization has their yearly Oh/W.Va. Women’s Conference in Berlin. Whenever we are up in the area my husband knows we will be stopping here as well. My pastor was also pleased to hear of the store and we will be visiting during our conference.

Went here today!! Somehow Google maps had me driving in circles and it took 2 hours from Akron to get there but when we arrived I swear the clouds parted, the sun was shining and the snow started to melt!!!!! I haven't bought fabric since JoAnns closed. Today I bought some! Well worth the drive! 2 clearance sections..1 upstairs was $1 per yard by the bolt! Downstairs clearance was all at $1.99 a yard! Huge huge amount of quilting cotton that ran up to $6.99! YES $6.99!! BACKING $15.99 Crazy Insane!!!

Travelled up from Cincy area to take a dive in! Found some stunning appliqué pattern packets and a few things I needed for an active project. Will definitely make the journey more in the future! Staff were very friendly and helpful as well which is always a welcome addition.
