What a wonderful, historic shop!!! The owner is so nice and engaging. Very nice selection of fabric and notions, with an emphasis on vintage. The shop is so inviting, my wife and I coukd have sat down and spent the entire afternoon here!

Lovely store!!!!! All the essentials needed top quilt, crochet or knit. Wool applique too. Wish I lived closer.... I would visit all the time 😊

What a wonderful store! Friends and I visited looking for buttons, embroidery supplies, and fabric. We found exactly what we were looking for. The shop is so well stocked and in such a fun building.

Participant in the 2023 Very Perry Christmas. New owners since October, 2023. Great quilt shop in a historic downtown Newport building. Love the huge bar that now is the checkout counter. Will offer classes. Open late, until 7 pm, on Thursdays and Fridays.

I had my first visit to Humble Stitch and was totally surprised by the selection of yarns, patterns, tools, and cloth. Humble Stitch is a fun hidden gem in Newport square that has a great community area in the front where lessons and meet ups are held. The owner is very knowledgeable of the craft and clearly excited to teach existing and future generations of enthusiasts. I highly recommend checking in, even if you're just exploring the area!
