Suddenly Sewing

I took the “Crash Course to Sewing” class last week and had the best time! Some background: I had not sewn anything in about 10 years prior to this class, and before that when I did sew it was all self-taught from books and YouTube, so it always felt like a struggle to properly create anything. I decided recently that I want to start over and learn to sew from someone who knows what they’re doing, and I stumbled across this shop when searching for beginner classes. I wasn’t sure what to expect but figured it was worth a shot. I’m so glad I booked this! The class was super informative, we spent a lot of time learning about the parts of the sewing machine, different types of threads and needles, and how everything works together. As a “why” person I appreciate this level of detail and knowledge sharing, because it makes it a lot easier for me to retain the info when I know the reasoning behind it. We wrapped up class by making a table runner, and the sense of accomplishment I had was through the roof. I’ve always loved the idea of sewing but it always felt a little bit unattainable and scary (even as I was doing it), because there are lots of things that could go wrong. This first class gave me so much more confidence in the possibility that I can be successful at this skill. The teachers were great, they made the information fun and were patient with questions people had (Michael, Cathy, and Chris helped us that night). I have already booked my spot for the second class in this series. I plan to take them all!

I found Suddenly Sewing Monday night Facebook sales during Covid. I live in Brownsville Texas 540 miles away. I still watch the Monday night Shows. When it came time to purchase a new sewing machine, I knew what I wanted and called Michael at the store and arranged the purchase. I drove to Fort Worth to pick it up and Completely satisfied. The classes they offer quite often have zoom so I can participate. I found a family at Suddenly Sewing and all of their clientele. I highly recommend them. They go above and beyond.

Started going to Suddenly Sewing 2 weeks after they opened 10 years ago. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful! I've bought many machines from them and the owners classes helped me to learn how to use my machines. I love going to classes and have made many friends with the others to love to go there too. You can't beat their helpful staff. I can recommend this shop for quality and service.

Suddenly Sewing has become my most favorite online shopping go-to places for all my sewing and quilting needs at the most affordable prices! The customer service is excellent and very patient, taking as much time as needed to answer all of my questions. The shipments are a flat rate and have always arrived on time with no missing items or damage. I have recommended them to several of my friends and family.

A wonderful quilt shop! Staff is amazing. I love the Facebook live shows on Monday so much fun. I live 2 hours away and the shipping is so fast and reasonable! I participated in a block of the month that turned out amazing! Rather in shop, online, or over the phone the service is wonderful!
