Avenue J did a great job on engraving some tumblers for me - they were kind enough to review the design, show me a proof of how it lined up on the cup, and complete it on time. This hidden gem is also a new favorite for filament shopping for my son's new hobby of 3D printing - he can see what the finished product looks like in store!

Avenue J review: I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Avenue J and would not recommend their services based on how my order was handled. On 1/27/26, I dropped off my daughter’s dance team jacket and backpack to be embroidered. The initial interaction was pleasant, we discussed the design, I chose the colors, paid in full, and was told everything would be ready by 2/6/26. I was also told I would receive a sample beforehand. On 1/29, I received a sample of the jacket (which looked great), and I approved it immediately. In that same message, I was told the backpack name couldn’t be placed where I originally requested due to an inside zipper. I explained I preferred the original placement but asked for their recommendations. They sent a sample of a different location but said the name would have to be significantly smaller. I agreed to the new placement but not the tiny font. I was then told the larger size could damage their machine. At that point, I said I would come pick up my items. Only then did they suddenly say they could do the original size and placement after all. I said thank you and approved it. After that, there was no communication until 2/5. I texted for an update—no response. I called and the person on the phone was extremely dry, rushed through the conversation, and didn’t even check whether the work was being done or if there were any outstanding issues causing a delay. If they had taken a moment to actually look into it, those issues could have been resolved right then. Instead, I was brushed off and simply told the order would be ready the next day. On 2/6, around 6pm, I arrived to pick up my order and was shocked to find out that nothing was done. Not even the jacket that had been approved over a week earlier. The employee told me the person working on my order had already left for the day and wouldn’t be back until Monday. This was completely unacceptable, especially since my daughter needed these items for an upcoming competition. I asked for compensation and was told the best they could do was have it ready Monday. I asked for my items back and a refund. I was told no refund could be issued. My husband suggested a store credit or gift card, and even that was denied until “further review.” The employee said I could take my unfinished items or leave them and wait. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving with nothing, but she assured me the order would be ready first thing Monday morning. Monday morning I received a text saying my order was ready. I replied asking to see a picture of the finished items—no response. Monday evening, I did pick up the finished product. The work itself was done very nicely and in the original requested place and size. However, the quality of the final product does not erase the stress, lack of communication, conflicting information, and complete disregard for the promised deadline. This entire experience was unprofessional, stressful, and full of avoidable miscommunication. I was given multiple conflicting answers, no follow‑through on promised deadlines, and zero accountability when the order wasn’t completed on time. For a business that handles custom work with deadlines, this level of service is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Wonderful team. They’re highly knowledgeable and got my company embroidery perfect for our uniforms at The Woodlands Pool Services. I was concerned about feeling it while wearing it, but it’s not noticeable even if I try. Communication was smooth and they made the whole process easy from start to finish. Their advice is fantastic as well. From company uniforms to golf bags they can do it all. 10/10 highly recommend.
