Gabby's Sewing & More

My sewing machine was repaired promptly, and is now working perfectly. It's a helpful, friendly place!

My family always uses Gabby's. In the past 6 or so years, we have used, two times, someone else closer and are ALWAYS end up disappointed with the work and the price. Gabby's is just so much better on everything. Friendlier, way more helpful, perfect with alterations, knowledgeable and all the other things you could possibly want with anything sewing related. Customer service in the world as a whole has went down hill EXCEPT Gabby's is still always glad to see you walk in. Everyone there is great and I appreciate the services so much. Makes the drive there every bit worth it for us and we will always be loyal customers.

This is Roadhouse, James Roadhouse Sayre, reporting, I had a wonderful and just stomped down, great, great, Visit, and experience at Gabby’s. I had to have some, precise alterations in a much needed, and in the worst way. Dealt directly with the owner, Gabby, from the moment I walked in the door, she made a first and lasting impression on myself. Miss Gabby took control of the situation immediately, she did all the pre-measuring and marked off everything, got me in and out very quickly and efficiently. Gabby called me herself, whenever everything was ready, and she was spot on. Anyone can tell, whenever they walk in, her establishment, that not only does she have everything organized, she has everything else and everybody in place to get the job done. This is customer service and its best, you cannot ask for anything Else. Gabby‘s Sewing And Alterations gets a 100%, A+!! Gabby's showroom, waiting area, service department, warehouse, etc. is so clean and neat and organized!! So , What I am driving at is, if you want first class service, hospitality, and fair pricing, and knowing that the job will be done right the first time, then all you need to know is go to Gabby’s, it is located right off the big chimney exit in Elkview, and she will take care of you!! It’s hard to find a good Sewing And alteration business these days, but now you do not have to look any further, Gabby will accommodate you and has many years of experience, and she has a glowing and winning personality !! These ladies are the sweetest! They were able to repair my daughter's beloved purse and get it back to her within a few hours. They have done other repairs for us in the past; jeans, pillowcases, shirts, etc and are always reasonably priced and the work is perfect. Great people!

We went in for a sewing repair for our machine (singer heavy duty, bought it on Amazon for 200 bucks, its junk). We wanted to purchase a new one that gets the job done. They showed us a few new ones that looked awesome but me and my husband saw a refurbished 1950s singer (in original table )out of the corner of our eye and the price was so low! Needless to say, we ended up buying 2 of the 1950s machines! Wonderful service, wonderful staff! Definitely our go to spot for all sewing repairs, thread and needles...AND they have sewing classes!
