High Country Quilts Bernina

This is my go to store. Owners Adam and Renee are very helpful and customer minded. Customer service is their specialty. I have always had fast, friendly, knowledgeable service in this store. Good selection of fabric and lots of inspiration. Staff are all friendly and willing to make sure you get the answers and products you need. I travel an hour to get there and it is well worth it. They are my service team for my Bernina machines. You will not be disappointed if you stop by. Always a joyful store to be in.

You can insert any 5 Star review here for any quilt store and High Country Quilts can match it, but what I want to tell you about is how they go beyond any normal quilt store. We will start with the ownership Adam and Renee have built a store based on the wishes of their customers. These two are highly accessible. They are always open to the local Quilting Guilds, Community Service, and even the sewest who sew Garments…yes garments! They are a full service Bernina Dealer and yes they have all of the parts, notions and offer a myriad of classes from New Owner classes to Master Classes. You will not be left staring at your machine saying “now what?” That includes Long Arm machines, (people come from miles to take a class with Kim)…Sergers (there is a Serger Club with projects like bags, garments and home decoration), and even classes in machine embroidery and digitizing software! Classes and events go beyond the normal offerings of classes for quilters and sewest of all skill levels, and ages. They have national speakers on quilting techniques, fabrics (batiks and Cuddle Fabric), and the best Bernina educators’. They even have clubs specializing in Cuddle fabric, bags, mastering your serger and digitizing software. They have not forgotten the garment sewer, as they have classes for making wonderful coats and robes from Cuddle fabric, Vests, Aprons and for garment sewers who want to take their skills to the next level even a fit sloper. Want more shopping…. Hop on a bus, which they offer, and go north to the quilting events in Castle Rock and Longmont. They are a must see stop on the yearly Rocky Mountain Shop Hop in August. There is also stay in your own bed retreats and the Cherry on top is the Quilting, Sewing, and Crafting extravaganza. Of course, they have all of the fabric you would ever want to see and touch, which reminds me do not miss the amazing Wall of Cuddle! Cannot find what you are looking for in books head towards the class room, notions the hallway to the back “but wait there is still more room” that holds more fabric, stabilizers, batting and other specialty fabrics. Still cannot find it… just ask any of the staff, they are everywhere, and they will help you out. These employees you will recognize as the best of the best from other stores that have left us. The most important thing is this is where you will find your sewing friends be it in the staff, in a class or while shopping

High Country Quilts is a wonderful quilt store. The folks who work there are super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience with them. I received excellent training on the sewing machine I bought. Their classes have great instructors and are super fun. —and did I mention the fabric selection? Everything you want and more!

I always have fun and see lots of smiles when I am in the store. Today’s search was for thread and baby boy flannel. The shelves were fully stocked and I found 9 fabrics that went home with me! Adam is excellent at customer service as is the rest of the staff. Thank you for serving the quilting, embroidery and sewing community so faithfully! I drove down from Castle Rock.
