Silver Forest Quilts

I was thrilled when I met Jackie, the owner of Silver Forest Quilts. She had recently relocated to Holden, Missouri and was setting up her quilt shop here. I had three quilts that I needed to get quilted before Christmas, and I was traveling out-of-town to deliver them to my daughter and her family. Jackie guided me and helped me select the patterns that I ended up choosing. She is a wealth of knowledge and a consummate professional quilter. She did a fantastic job in a short amount of time. All three quilts were ready for me to take with me to Washington State on time. I have included 4 pictures. The raspberry is the back of one of the quilts. I will most definitely be using her services again.

I completed my first quilt and a friend ( master quilter) recommend this business to do the long arm quilting and binding. I live in Tennessee and this business is in Missouri so I was naturally concerned about shipping something that had so much time and energy in it. I mean after all-it is priceless! As a first timer I really needed someone who was not only experienced, but would be willing to take my many questions and guide me to a finish product that encompassed my final vision. Jackie was a DREAM! She was patient, kind, thoughtful and really took the time to understand my goal for this quilt. She explained every detail in the process and at the final moment, I had the confidence to trust her years of experience, relinquish my control, knowing that she understood my vision. I got the quilt back today and it is perfect! I am so in love! I have an art degree and have been an interior designer for over 20 yrs, but this required a different set of skills. Jackie stood in confidence, and walked me through every decision. 100% worth every penny spent! You might find some cheaper but I can guarantee you won’t find anyone better. Whether it is your first quilt for your 100th, I promise you won’t be disappointed with Silver Forest Quilts. I simply could not be happier!

I recently made this quilt for a long time friend...the name of the pattern is, 'Make New Friends.' I live on the east side of Missouri and on Jackie's recommendation I shipped to her on the west side of Missouri using UPS. When she received my shipment, we talked on the phone about her thoughts for quilting design and thread color and my vision for this quilt. It was a great collaboration. As you can see, this throw quilt turned out beautifully. My friend who received it was moved to tears. ❤️ You will find Jackie's work impeccable and she has an artist's eye for color, design & scale. She is very experienced so your quilt top is in the best hands.

Jackie made a beautiful quilt for me. She was so patient and guided me all along the process. I wanted to select fabrics that were special to me and she was so helpful in her guidance and advice. We started working together on the quilt when Jackie was in Pennsylvania, and then she made an important and exciting life decision to move to Colorado to be near her family. She never missed a beat. She packed up my fabrics and plans and took them with her and shipper the completed quilt to me from Colorado. An unbelievable experience and my quilt is an absolutely beautiful piece of artistry and craftsmanship that I will treasure forever.

Jackie finished a quilt with birds as the theme. She is very flexible with the edge to edge designs. After deciding to go with a modern design, I asked if it could be done horizontally rather than vertically. Jackie was agreeable to this change in quilt design. The end result is a delightful looking quilt. The use of light green thread adds to the depth of this quilt.
