Emergency Response Gear & Embroidery

Purchased a fire arm from a third party vendor- was not upfront about a holding fee or time frame to be picked up. When confronted about it they were entirely rude and nasty. Answering or calling the facility is the worst customer experience I’ve ever had! Do not come here.

Don’t ship your firearm here if you bought it from someone wo doesn’t hold an FFL. I bought a rifle from Gunbroker and had it shipped her for the NIC check. They refused to complete the transfer because it was shipped by an unlicensed person via USPS. This is not illegal to do, it even states clearly that this IS legal to do on the ATF’s website. I ended up having to pay to ship it BACK to the seller and then a THIRD time to Four Guns down the road. I mentioned this to a sales associate at Four Guns when I asked him if they could complete my transfer and he chuckled and said “that’s Emergency Response Gear, they are backwards. We do these kinds of transfers all the time.” Don’t pick these guys because they are the cheapest in town. They even boasted that on the phone when I called to see if they would be willing to do the transfer before I even bought the gun. Pay the extra 25 bucks and send it to Four Guns.

This review is only one star bc I have no choice, otherwise zero stars for this business. I shipped a firearm purchased from me, thru Gunbroker.com, to this business at the buyers request, as ERG is a licensed FFL dealer. Once this establishment received the package and all the proper completed paperwork from Gunbroker.com they refused to complete the transaction and transfer to my buyer and gave no good reason other than "... the transaction seemed shady... and it was an illegal transfer". It obviously was not as Gunbroker.com is a legal, reputable site that is specifically for fostering proper, LEGAL firearm transfers. I, as well as another licensed FFL dealer, reached out citing the laws and providing the source direct from the ATF government site. Not only did they continue to decline the transaction, ERG completed the transfer to their business name before shipping it back, costing me additional fees for another transfer, on top of the $75 fee for shipping. All for no reason. This situation was not handled appropriately or professionally and was quite disappointing for not only myself but the buyer. I would advise, that a business of this type especially, be knowledgeable of the laws and transactions of their market.

I dropped off 2 brand new 5.11 quarter-zips for embroidery. When I went to pick them up, the total was $140!!! For embroidery!!! Once I got home, I noticed the wrong name had been embroidered, so I had to take them back to be fixed. I didn't receive an apology, discount, or money back for the mistake. Nothing. Will never go there again!

If you are looking for, as the name says, emergency response gear then this is the place. Do you need embroidery or vinyl stickers... firearms or a less than lethal option this is the place. Tired of high pressure sales from uneducated salesmen? At ERG you will find educated, experienced sales professionals. The best part is that the same people that own it run it. I've been to a lot of similar stores but none have made me feel as comfortable as ERG. Stop in and see what Ken and Joy can do for you!
