This is a very nice quilt shop a few minutes off the interstate. It is located in a charming old house that has lots of natural light and is filled with lots of tempting goodies. The fabric selection was very nice as was the selection of notions. Well worth visiting and I will definitely return.

What a sweet shop with knowledgeable staff and a desire to help quilters or knitters at all stages of their "journey". I stopped by on a snowy afternoon trying to match some Tula Pink fabric. While I didn't find an exact match, I was quickly shown a coordinating fabric that added the zing I didn't know I needed. While not the hugest collection of fabric in the area, what the store had will meet the needs of everyone and perhaps helps in the overwhelming feel that I have in stores with a HUGE collection. Don't miss this gem when in the Story City area.

It’s Sew Tempting is simply a wonderful quilt (and yarn) shop. The fabric selection is great and the owners/staff are even better! There is a varied and plentiful selection of patterns, panels, notions etc. Shoppers will definitely be tempted here!

Sweet, homey store. The owners are expert at helping you pick fabrics, etc and they know their craft well I'm fairly new to sewing and very new to quilting, and they have been fabulous at giving me the support I need.

Super friendly and pointed me in the right direction for the supplies I needed for dance costume alterations, even though they specialize in quilting. I noticed the selection of yarn and can't wait to go back to check it out!
