I had an amazing experience working with Lindsay to design and create a t-shirt quilt to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. It was such a thoughtful, collaborative process, and the finished project turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined. The quality of the fabric, quilting and embroidery work is exceptional. Every stitch is perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for a more satisfying experience trusting your business to create a priceless memento from his old t-shirts, along with 18 years of precious memories. Thank you!!

We had memorial quilts made for myself & my sister out of our papaw’s shirts. They are so beautiful and made so well! Highly recommend them for any of your quilt services!

I am thrilled with my quilt. I left the artistic aspect and design all up to the quilting professional at Happy Dance Quilting, and she did a spectacular job!! I could not be more happy with the result!! I did a concert T-shirt quilt of my favorite band. Not only did I love it, but when I tweeted it to the band, they also loved it!! Thanks again, Highly recommend! :)

Just purchased 2 t-shirt quilts from Happy Dance Quilting and I am so impressed with the whole experience. When I was first looking for a quilting service I tried online retailers, but was afraid to pass over my personal belongings to a big business. Instead I had so much trust for these local craft-persons. Being able to talk with the designers about exactly what I wanted gave me so much more faith in the process. The designers even thought out of the box for my project and recommended creating matching quilts that I could gift to family. The finished product is beyond my expectations from the quality of the fabrics, the care and design of my materials, and the intricate details that went into the entire product. It even costed less and took a shorter amount of time to finish than what the online services offered. 10/10 recommend.

I highly recommend Happy Dance Quilting! I was so pleased at their helpfulness, speed of turnaround and quality of work. I found Happy Dance by chance. Quick backstory: In February 2021, I finally completed my first quilt that I'd began piecing from a Block of the Month kit in 2003. It was done by reading directions and watching YouTube videos, totally by the seat of my pants. :-) I took it to my local quilt shop to be LAQ'd and was told it'd be ready in 12 weeks. This surprised me because the local shop has several Long arm machines running in the store. However, while placing the order they asked me questions that, being a newbie to quilting, I had zero idea how to answer. I was told they'd pick a pattern for the quilting that would work for the quilt, that I couldn't choose my own. They asked about density, I'd never heard of it. They asked about batting, I'd brought my own but was told it wasn't "good." So I left my quilt, but felt flustered. I came home and began researching. Over the next few weeks, I found Happy Dance Quilting's blog! It thoroughly discusses quilt battings, density, various quilt techniques, and even shows a lovely gallery of how different patterns look on different quilts. WOW! Then I discovered it wasn't only a blog, it was also a quilt shop that does LAQ! I took myself right back to my local shop, asked if my quilt had been started (was told no, it would be at least 16 more weeks, even though I'd left it a month earlier with a promise of being done in 12 weeks) and promptly picked it up. I drove to Louisville and dropped two quilts ( I'd had time to start and finish a second one in the duration) off at Happy Dance. Three weeks later, I picked up both my quilts, beautifully done just as I'd requested, with absolutely lovely binding, and I paid $50 less for both than one was going to cost at my local shop. When a business offers speed, efficiency, knowledge sharing, willingness to teach, beautiful work, and great prices - you just can't go wrong. I'll be a loyal customer for Happy Dance Quilting.
