This is such a neat spot! I haven't sewn in 15 years but was able to pick it back up pretty quickly, with help and guidance. I ended up spending longer than I intended but left with two finished projects. I'll be back to work on others ❤️

I went to a BYO-Machine and learn how to use it class and left feeling more confident with my machine! Everyone was very inviting and kind! I will definitely be back for another class or open shop night in the future.

I can’t recommend taking a class enough! As a first-timer, I was guided through every step. The classes cover a range of topics, from fun sewing crafts to practical knowledge on how to mend clothes. I felt very safe asking questions and making “mistakes,” as well as learning how to solve them. I came by myself and ended up meeting more members of my community.

A hidden gem for beginner and experienced sewists alike! The Sew It Together team guided me through so many projects during open shop hours—like hemming pants, cropping shirts, patching jeans—and I don’t know how I could’ve done any of that without their expertise. If you’re a hands-on learner, this is the place for you. Bring a project you need help with, and the Sew It Together staff will share their recommendations. In the end, you’re responsible for doing the work, so you get the benefit of hands-on learning while being supported by a bunch of friendly experts. A true Northeast treasure!
