Stitchology

Overpriced. A spool of thread, $17.00. I purchased a spool of thread and a yard and a half of fabric. $70.00. Now i know why i’ve subconsciously been avoiding that place.

While visiting family in Albuquerque this past week, I made two separate trips to Stitchology! I was completely smitten by the fabric curation, as well as the incredible patterns and kits, to include Stitchology original designs. Beautiful, clean, welcoming environment with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The owner helped me locate a pattern I had seen sewn up in the store - and it turned out she had designed it herself! I can’t recommend this shop enough - online ordering from Stitchology will have to hold me over until I am back in town again!

I would give zero stars if I could. Visited the shop today with family, our experience was negative and will be our last visit to this shop. Was eyeballed around the shop by the cashier/owner and felt like all eyes were on me and family through the store while we browsed. Also, the clientele seemed snooty and didn’t take kindly to visitors (almost felt like racial profiling). I will never recommend this business to friends and family and will be taking my business to a place where me and my family are not profiled and unwelcome.

This store has the best selection of fabrics I have seen in a long time. I wanted to buy half the store! This is not a traditional, boring quilter's store. There's fabric for making fun garments and for fiber artists and anyone who loves to do creative things with fabric. They have lots of classes too but I don't live in Albuquerque anymore so I tried not to look at the list. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Great store! All the staff was helpful and friendly. The store was clean and well organized. The owner creates many of the patterns. I can’t wait to go back!
