Great sewing shop, especially for garment sewists! They serviced my vintage machine for a reasonable price, which was cheaper than the quotes I received from other shops. They also offer classes, which are excellent!

Love this store! The owner is so kind and sweet. The staff if knowledgeable. Laura is a fantastic teacher! I gladly drive 45 minutes to come to this store. The classes are great too. I recommend this store for all your sewing and embroider needs. They have everything you need.

I’m so happy HV has found a home! Kaedy and her well-selected staff bring me back to the early days of my adventures in sewing with HV near Beaumont. It’s so nice to have found a sewing home again!

This brand remains what it’s always been-All fluff and no substance. They will tell you that their machines are the best in the business and they very much aren’t. They are temperamental and have so many plastic parts that break and wear out and are not self serviceable. Laser guides and electronic bits and bobs Don’t mean anything if your machine won’t sew. You should be able to pick up any thread off the shelf and a needle off the shelf install it on your machine and it should just work. ESPECIALLY AT THESE PRICE POINTS! IT’S HIGHWAY ROBBERY THAT These machines only work consistently under strict conditions, with the most expensive threads and finest needles- Meanwhile my solid metal wheeler and Wilson will work with any new or old thread, any new or old needle. And electronic embroidery is fine, but I shouldn’t have to pay $40 for a spool of thread for it to work properly. My Bernina Will embroider free motion with again, any thread any needle. This is definitely not something that I can say for the Viking and singer machines that I’ve tried. The only thing I can say that remains consistent about this brand, is that they are consistently a disappointment.

Went on opening day and the owner and everyone working was so kind and excited to start a sewing community. The store is well organized and the classroom area is gorgeous with a great setup. I was happy to see and hear they will offer several different types of fabrics, not just quilting. Will definitely be returning.
