I have never been here, but I called today about ten minutes before they closed.I should have hung up after the way the lady answered the phone, yet I thought maybe I was over exaggerating. I asked does this shop offer sewing classes and her reply was " I absolutely doooo NOT?" She refers me to a place in Plano and ask what kind of machine do I have and where did I purchase it(not sure why this matters if she just told me she doesn't offer classes but ok). I answer her and she said "so your a beginner?" I said yes she replied back with "Its gonna be hard to find a sewing class with a machine you brought yourself that you didn't get from a sewing shop. So you are gonna have to keep looking around. Im not trying to be negative." Turns out I wasn't over exaggerating! I was confused by her whole demeanor. She act as if I said I found a random sewing machine on a street corner or something. When in fact I bought it at Joann's. Also, I had already found a sewing class I was just trying to find one closer to home. When I do get the concept of sewing and quilting down.I know where NOT to shop!!

A fun quilting store with lots of cool fabrics, kits, threads, and examples. No classes unless you want to learn how to use the long arm.

Posting 5 stars because I can't give them six. First they had the fabric line I wanted that I could not find anywhere near me or in other places on line. I even had a choice. Then I ordered on Thursday at noon, and it arrived in my mail on Saturday. So glad that I had already placed another order, this time for backing fabric for a quilt that needs to be finished or close to finished by the end of the month. All I can do is judge on service---and if in store is half as good as online, this place is fantastic!

This was a nice quilt store that we had not visited before. We had some time to kill in the area while we waited for our daughter. The fabric selection was not huge, but the selection that they did have was unique and was not something I had seen everywhere else. We found that we liked their patterns the best and we ended up purchasing a kit and a pattern that day. The staff was friendly and it is certainly worth a quick stop if you are in the area. It looks like they have quite a few people who come in and work on quilts or other projects together in the back of the store.
