I'm new to embroidery and was very excited to visit this store, hoping to purchase several items and seek guidance in this new hobby. I was immediately told that my machine was "junk" and that i would "be disappointed in the quality and get discouraged when I attempted to embroider anything" because I purchased it at an online retailer, rather than their store. I'm fairly certain my Brother PE900 is not junk, and will work perfectly fine. I was told I should have purchased a larger machine because I would want to work on larger projects. I kindly explained that I was a beginner and hoped to embroider clothing for my toddler. I was cut off and told AGAIN that I made a mistake by not purchasing my machine there. There were several people around listening to this conversation and I have never been so publically embarassed and offended by a grown woman. I was very kind and even let her show me where the stabilizers and threads were that I initially asked about and then chose to leave. I was spoken to like i was being scolded by a parent and I am so disappointed in the un-kindess I experienced. I hope future beginners aren't treated the way I was today, and I hope the woman who "helped" me today has a better day moving forward, she must have been having a terrible day today.

The people there was super nice. I brought in a curtain and just inspo pics of what I would like and this lady went out of her way to find the perfect fabric. The tech guy who works on the sewing machines was also great. I was able to just show him a picture of my machine (which is ridiculously old and not running) and the the parts I needed and he knew exactly what to get. Also had so much more fabric selection than Hobby Lobby which seemed like our only option after Joanne's closed for better selection. 10/10 will be back

I have bought 3 machines so far. I am always taken care of when I go on. I love this place. It's the best place to buy sewing machines, servers, and embroidery machines. I hope Longview and surrounding area give them enough business to keep the going strong for many more years! Oh did I mention they service the sewing machines too. One lady who has been there since the first I went in several years ago is always knowledgeable about machines, sewing, what needles you need etc. Just a great place

Our very first and closest quilt shop we visited during the 2024 All Texas Shop Hop. Located in wonderful Longview, Texas, the ladies are so nice and very welcoming. We picked up a pre sale order before beginning our shop hop. Great shop, plenty of fabric to choose from and wonderfully warm and friendly people. A great location, well worth the brief I-20 drive for us and we look forward to returning soon, this a wonderful quilt and fabric sewing storeπ
