Bobbin & Bolt

I love this store! I frequent other sewing stores as well, but Bobbin and Bolt is a definitely my favorite. Their fabrics are excellent quality. I especially like asking Sharon Ramos and Lucy Ess for advice. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. It would be nice if they gave sample swatches of fabric to loyal customers who are already making a large purchase from them. But even so, I have had only positive experiences at this store!

I have been sewing since the 60's & quilting since the early 80s. I love going to new quilt shops & have always had a fun, positive experience until Bobbin & Bolt. The staff (& esp the owner) appear not to really care if you are going to purchase anything. I came in with the specific idea of purchasing a new embroidery machine & researched the cost ($$$$). B&B had a slightly lower price & so I did purchase one there. But...when it came to instructional classes, while the associate "teaching" the class was nice, the classes were a disappointment & did not leave me feeling confident that I could go home & use my machine. I am computer literate, but this is a challenge & a costly investment & with the rudeness of the owner/staff I would not recommend going to this store.

I recently purchased a sewing machine cabinet from this wonderful husband and wife business, Bobbin and Bolt, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. They offer a beautiful selection of high quality fabrics, Brother sewing and quilting machines, that are perfect for quilting and machine embroidery projects, and their customer service excellent. When my cabinet arrived damaged, I was initially disappointed, but their quick and caring response turned the situation around completely. They handled everything promptly-communicating clearly every step of the way, arranging a replacement, and making sure I was completely satisfied. Their follow-through was outstanding and went above and beyond what I’ve come to expect from most retailers. It’s refreshing to support a small, family-run business that genuinely cares about their customers. The personal attention, beautiful products, and integrity they showed made the whole process a joy. If every business operated with this level of care and responsiveness, shopping would truly be a pleasure.

Bobbins & Bolts is hands down my favorite fabric store! Their selection is absolutely fabulous — from beautiful basics to unique prints, there’s always something inspiring to find. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely friendly every single time I visit — truly a gem for anyone who loves sewing, quilting, or crafting!

Incredible selection of quilting fabrics and the staff was lovely and helpful every step of the way. I will be back!
