The store (is an old house) the owner Dawn was amazing. The quality of fabric and selection was worth the trip. Price per yard is a few dollars cheaper by the yard for the same fabric at other fabric stores. Huge variety can’t imagine anyone walking out and not buying anything. The owner was not pushy at all to get you to buy, she more interested in you and very helpful. I will definitely go back.

I’ve been in a couple times and have purchased fabrics each time. I think this could be my go to fabric place but what stops me from coming in is the jarring disarray. It is incredibly unorganized, messy, cluttered and very unpleasant to shop because of this. The notions wall is terribly scattered with no rhyme or reason to anything and it’s all very overwhelming with piles and stacks of randomness (soaps, rocks..?) literally in every single corner and main area. It’s not a fun relaxing place to shop for fabrics, it’s very stuffy, stifling, claustrophobic. Aside from this, the fabric selection is ok but clearly the owner loves Tula pink and it’s everywhere. I asked about a couple very popular, very well known fabric designers and if she’d ever consider carrying them and she had no clue what I was talking about. Hard to believe considering she owns a fabric store but also kind of made sense. Hopefully I won’t get a snarky rebuttal from the owner as I see she enjoys do that. I don’t need anyone to “prey” for me. I am truly wanting to offer my honest review of my shopping experience and I don’t sugar coat things. Sorry!

I am so glad Joanne’s closer. It made me try this fantastic shop. The service, fabric and knowledge of Dawn is Deeply appreciated. The fabric is of very good quality and even my gradchildren 9 and under keeps complimenting in their quilt’s softness and great feeling their quilts have after . Why spend all the time and love in making quilts with cheap fabric.. . Dawn has a lot of knowledge and patience helping you make the best quilt possible. She has a lot of tricks to help you making the whole process enjoyable. I have tried several quilt shops since Joann’s has closed. Who said “Old dogs can’t learn new tricks was wrong. I found beautiful fabric that is easy to work with and the outcome is awesome. .

Seriously the best, most informative, kind chick to do business with. She has a vast assortment of Tula Pink fabrics to choose from as well as many others: kaffe, moda, Allison glass. I'm from out of town and look forward to coming back to the store when I'm in town.

So I am currently at a sewing retreat in Sarasota with 70 women. I needed some cording and found that this store was open so off I went to purchase some. Well, was my friend and I in for a horrible shock. We were greeted by a lovely woman with a very heavy accent who helped us out with what we needed. Now comes the horrible part. While we were looking through the store we come to find out the owner of the store has called in to talk to her employee about me and my friend. There are 25 CAMERAS in this store which is no problem. My friend starts realizing there is a phone call going on of which we can hear because it is coming through speakers in the store. The owner proceeds to question the employee about every single little move i am making through this store. She accuses me of trying to shoplift. I stopped in my tracks when I realized what was going on. The employee then tries to make me feel better but nope i am insulted and totally taken aback. If i didn't really need what i went to get there i would have walked out without purchasing. Needless to say i paid cash so they would not have any of my details. Horrible woman. Nope the damage was done. DRIVE RIGHT BY THIS PLACE. NEVER EVER SHOP HERE YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL. If you are so worried about your store then you should be here in person running it. Never in my wildest dreams would I be accused of shoplifting. Just down right awful. I'm still in shock.

Oh my GOSH! Dawn has EVERYTHING ONE CAN WANT FOR QUILTING and sewing! Pre-cut fabric is a GENIUS idea. I can pick up the pieces I want and don’t have to wait to have fabric cut. LOVE THIS CUTE LITTLE SHOP, and Dawn is fun to talk with while shopping.
