Wow! Great customer service and super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Ms. Linda immediately figured out the issue with my machine and was able to fix it on the spot. I am so impressed and will be back to purchase their beautiful, wide variety of fabric.

TLDR: Amazing customer service, repair service, after repair care, and overall great experience!! Took my husqvarna topaz 50 in here to get serviced and diagnose the problem it was having skipping stitches. The staff was extremely nice from beginning to end! My machine is stitching just like it used to and I am so happy!! 5 star service all around from customer service to machine repair. I am going to be bringing my other topaz 30 in next. I have always been weary of servicing my machines and just doing maintenance myself but they made me feel confident in taking my machines to them for maintenance from now on! I was able to bring what I stitch in and test it before I took my machine home also (which was incredibly helpful as I live 45min away) and the test was perfect and she gave me some tips and new thread to try. Well worth the drive and I will be back again and again! We're about to have an ice storm and I left there extremely happy and looking forward to embroidering the rest of the day until the power goes out LOL

I left my only but old Singer sewing machine with tension problems and paid the $169 for repair.. When I picked it up. I was told it needed a new tension part and that Singer doesnt make them anymore. Then I was told for $40 there was one available from a friend who makes them. I declined and decided to follow instructions to turn tension to zero before removing stitched cloth. I mainly do small repairs now at age 86, so hope that works out. The store there is lovely with so many beautiful fabrics.

We had such a great experience here! I took my grandma in to get her sewing machine troubleshooted and although it was a super easy fix, the staff was extremely kind and patient with explaining the problem to us and also recommended some great products to buy (which were greatly priced). Will definitely be back for a sewing class but I highly recommend!

I had a really lovely experience at Sew Sew in Duluth. Katie spent about an hour showing me how to use an embroidery machine and answering questions. She was able to put a package together with everything I needed to get started, and I was happy with the price. Sarah was very helpful as well, particularly regarding support services going forward. Aside from exemplar customer service, the store has a beautiful selection of fabrics and threads.

I went in with my mom looking for a specific fabric and the person at the counter totally ignored us (we are Hispanic). A white lady walked and the person at the counter greeted her a warm welcome. I have never been treated this way. Never again

I absolutely love this shop! Not only do they have yardage of my favorite designers to shop from (Ruby Star, Tilda, Lori Holt, Cotton & Steel and more), but they also have stellar service and they offer classes. I was glad to find the hardware and zippers that I needed for a bag that I am making. I appreciate Priscilla and all of the wonderful gals that work there. If you are in the Duluth area, it is definitely worth planning a stop in to say hello and shop. “I have enough fabric,” said no sewist ever. 😉

I came into the store with my mom last week. She hadn’t been since it was discover sewing. It was a place she was excited to take me since I just started sewing. We were impressed with the selection of fabric at the store but the person working was very unwelcoming to us and gave us very short answers to our questions. It felt as though we were a bother to her just by being there. I went to their other location in Bogart and had a completely different experience! The people working there were so nice and helpful!! I called this store back to see if they had a specific fabric in stock. If was the “Animal, Animal- Baby goats” fabric by Ruby Star Society. I believe it was the same woman who answered the phone and she again, seemed upset that I would call and ask and confused why I wanted goat fabric 😂😂 Well. Unfortunately I won’t be back to this location. I’ll be going to Unique Fabrics or Sew Sew in Bogart! Wouldn’t recommend this location.

My first class at Discover Sewing and learning to machine embroider. I was definitely a beginner. The ladies in the shop were so nice and so patient, (can’t say enough good things about them), along with other classmates, and they made sure I finished the project that I definitely couldn’t have done without help! I look forward to trying another class soon before I forget everything I learned!

I have purchased two Husqvarna Vikings from Discover Sewing within the past 10 years and got a great deal on Both of them. And received Training! They have fair pricing on their accessories and most always have sales on their merchandise. Go check them out!
