First time customer. Exceeded my expectation on completing repair for my Pfaff 720 - I expressed my need for having my machine back soon. I was expecting to wait a week or more and they turned it around in 2 days. Very pleasantly surprised and like that they were open till 5 on Saturday.

Sort of a strange experience. My starter sewing machine from 10 years ago finally died on me and I found this shop on Google. I wanted to invest in a good sewing machine, so I thought I’d skip the craft stores and just go here. First thing when I parked my car, an employee who was already outside asked me if I needed repairs. He looked bewildered that I was there. I told him I wanted to buy a new machine and met him inside. He gave me a tour of the store and a demonstration of two machines. The whole time, I felt like I was being treated like I was child. It wasn’t quite condescending, but I was uncomfortable with being perceived like I didn’t belong. I was ready to spend money, sort of with a budget of $300 in mind. When I told him this, he sighed loudly and told me that there’s a market for machines that cheap and it’s not this store. I was truly in shock. Immediately, it felt like he gave up on me as a customer. I was happy to purchase a new sewing machine and I believe the good reputation this store has, but I just can’t believe how quickly I was written off. I left feeling uncertain and wishing that my purchase decision could have been validated more.

I needed to replace an inexpensive and badly abused machine. I didn't want to spend much at all because I only needed something for hemming and mending. I was so happy that the manager found a sturdy little used machine for me at a very low cost - less than repairs would have been. Staff are super nice and helpful. I love it when businesses want to help customers as much as rmaking money. Thank you, Luke's!

i went in to buy another cheap ($100.00) machine. Watched a demonstration on a much better machine and ended up buying the better one. i financed it with no interest for a year and i’m picking it up tomorrow. i can hardly wait to get started sewing and crafting. staff was nice , friendly, and very helpful. i begin classes soon. So, so excited!! Caryl Roberts, lifetime customer.

I took my machine in because thread was wrapped around one of the levers and it definitely needed a good cleaning. My Toyota sewing machine was bought in 1988, yes it is older as most machines are. I do not have need for anything fancy or an embroidery machine. When Margaret looked at it she downgraded it, criticized my tension adjustment, she said that the bobbin winder was loose and I needed a new one or 'maybe' they could fix it. She exclaimed, "Toyota isn't even a brand!" She kept trying to sell me on a new machine, which I do not need. I do not sew much other than repairs and simple crafts. All of the men I dealt with were friendly. When I got home, I googled Toyota sewing machines and printed her a copy that showed how Toyota made sewing machines and looms before they even made automobiles! Yes it is a brand, Margaret. I also have a Toyota serger, and they have both done well for me for over 35 years. I guess the repair was done okay, (time will tell) but this is a picture of the cleaning job they did for $126. *Click to see full photo Highly unlikely I would go back or refer a friend there.
