I have been working with Carol and her team for many, many years. I always come back because they do an impeccable job long arm quilting my quilts. They are always easy to work with and quick to ship my orders. Keep up the great work Quilt Studio!

NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Should say that all over so people don’t waste their time traveling there. Also, it’s much more time consuming to browse through over 4,000 items on Etsy. I’d rather look at it all in a shop. I enjoy the experience more. Definitely lost business from me. I am here from out of town. The pick-up service/curb side is useless to me. Very disappointed.

This store is what a quilt store should be! I ordered a book from here and it was put in not one envelope but three including a plastic incase of dampness. It also included corrections to the pages since the publisher is not printing the version 2 currently. I also received my book in a week with a correct tracking number! What more can you ask for! Wonderful service, top notch communication, perfect packaging, great price, and yes I called them up and they are wonderful to talk to as well! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Great shop, everything I was looking for. Wonderful selection of modern patterns and fabric. On a road trip from the west coast and was thrilled to find this gem... but, from the moment I walked in until I left 18 minutes later...not one word from the ladies in the shop. Not a hello, may I help you or even a nod in my direction. Sad. I found everything I needed in this wonderful shop, but decided to find another quilt shop that may welcome my business. It is the small things that count.

UPDATE: Carol, the owner called. All stores, all people, can have a bad day. Carol said I could have money back or a store credit. And I appreciate that she will willing to work with me. So - I'll give her and the store another try! Original post: I won't be back. From start to finish a horrid experience. I wasn't greeted when I arrived. I wandered all over without ever being offered help. Once when I walked by the woman sitting behind the counter eating a sandwich I apologized for interrupting her lunch (it was 1:30). I hate to leave without buying anything, so I pulled a bolt of fabric and asked for 2 yards. Less than half the bolts had prices, and of course, the one I liked I didn't see a price. While she was cutting I admitted I had not quilted in awhile and showed her my pattern and asked for help identifying other bolts that would fit. She did walk around, but we didn't find anything that would work. She then finished ringing me up. Total $40 for 2 yards! When I inquired about it, she said it was backing fabric. Ok - I should have know that. But since she didn't greet me, didn't tell me what each stack or room of material was about AND we discussed my pattern and what I needed the fabric for, I was shocked. So - Modern Quilter got my $40. But that's the last $$$$ they will get from me. Inattentive and very poor customer service, from start to finish.
