My experience at this place was absolutely amazing! Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. My wedding dress turned out perfectly! They were very transparent since the beginning. I felt really comfortable leaving my wedding dress with them because I knew it would be in good hands. I highly recommend this place.

It was an incredible experience getting my wedding dress altered here. My dress needed a lot of small changes and Couture Alterations was able to accommodate every request I had. Maria and Lily are wonderful ladies to work with. I highly recommend coming here for any alterations you need done!

My experience getting my wedding dress and gloves altered at Couture Alterations was amazing! I felt so at ease and comfortable throughout the whole process. Everyone is so kind and made my mom and I feel so welcome. I really enjoyed coming in for each fitting and seeing my dress transform to fit my body perfectly. I bought my dress off the rack a year before the wedding and I gained weight. I was worried I would need a new dress but the Couture Alterations staff worked their magic and made it fit so beautifully. I also got gloves off Etsy that were too long and they altered them even with all of the intricate beading, they were able to make it even better!! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I owe to the wonderful staff at Couture Alterations.

This is the second time that I’ve brought a dress to this establishment in preparation for a wedding. Instead of requesting for a thrifted dress to be taken in like before (which was done exquisitely & in a timely manner), I brought a vintage dress that fit a version of me 5 years ago, and I asked Carmen to do the impossible — to make the dress fit again. Initially, I was nervous because Carmen had a serious (borderline skeptical) expression when I tried the dress on (ya gurl couldn’t even zip it up & only understood beginner’s level Spanish), but after a few exchanges explaining the need for a slit and color matching the material, Carmen was going to do her best to preserve the torso structure and beautiful embroidery of my dress (spoiler alert: she did NOT disappoint!). The staff typically gives customers a heads up that their turnaround time for intricate alterations may take a minimum of 2 weeks. This was perfectly understandable, so I gave up on my initial plans to wear this dress for an upcoming wedding — all I cared about was preserving the dress in a way that fits the current version of me. Lo and behold, one week later, I returned for the first initial fitting (fully expecting that subsequent alterations may be needed), but the dress literally fit me like a glove in the best way! I’m happy to report that I was able to celebrate my friend’s wedding in this new & improved dress literally the next day! Carmen is truly a talented seamstress & a Godsend! The services at this local, family-owned business are high quality and reasonably priced — 10/10 would recommend & will definitely be back again!

Such a wonderful experience having my wedding dress altered here! I truly felt at home and completely comfortable throughout the entire process. Every woman I interacted with was kind, professional, and a pleasure to talk to. The organization is outstanding—they clearly break down pricing and explain everything in detail. I was originally scheduled for three fittings but only needed two, which I really appreciated. Their knowledge and expertise in their craft are evident in the quality of their work. My husband also had his tuxedo altered here, and it turned out amazing. I highly recommend Couture Alterations!
