Claudia was able to beautifully restore my grandmas 70s wedding dress for my own wedding! She truly made it my own and made it to fit me comfortably, exactly how I imagined for my special day! It meant a lot to wear that dress and I never worried about it getting “ruined” while in her hands, I’m so glad she did this for me and I hope to use her in the future too for many more special events or just to fix vintage dresses! Not only did she help in the before of the dress, but even at my wedding she helped in using my bustle for my dances which I greatly appreciated. Claudia was so friendly, very responsive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. My event was only two weeks away, and she was able to get everything done in time. She altered my dress, my daughter’s dress, and my husband’s suit, and they all came out great. My daughter came in with a specific idea of how she wanted her dress altered, and Claudia was able to bring it to life beautifully. She also made pickup very easy and convenient. Highly recommend!

Claudia is just amazing. I found her on Instagram and knew I was going to have a handful of alterations needed because my wedding dress was like 2-3 sizes way too big. I was so nervous that it wouldn’t fit the way I planned but after my first fitting with Claudia, I knew I had found the right person. She is not only amazing at what she does but she truly cares. She cares how you feel in your dress, she cares to explain what needs to be done, and she knows exactly what she is doing! I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and how well it fit. She really had to take apart my dress and fit it exactly to my body and we were both speechless how exact it fit. No words can describe how thankful I am to have found her! Other than being a thoughtful seamstress, she was also a beautiful person to get to work with. She made all the appointments feel comfortable and inviting. She also made an incredible keepsake from my grandma’s wedding dress. I came in with no vision for it and she went above and beyond turning just some scraps into my wedding week tote bag! I genuinely don’t even know where to begin, Claudia is more than a seamstress and helped me have a dress better than what I even dreamed! I brought in a vintage dress that had potential, but needed a complete transformation. What she created from that starting point still feels unreal to me. She carefully cleaned and restored the fabric, hemmed it, and then completely reimagined the structure by removing the puff sleeves, creating them into gloves, and then adding a corset that made the fit feel like it was made specifically for me. As if that wasn’t enough when I had the crazy idea to order fabric to add a whole other layer she helped me with options and brought my wish to life! With it being, who knows how many decades old, it was delicate and I still don’t know how she managed to be so careful while getting such sharp results. Techniques I didn’t even know were possible were used for outdated stitching and fabric and style. She respects vintage so much and didn’t let any of what made it so timeless be affected by my change requests! She kept me in the loop every step of the way, asking me my opinion about every detail, and sending options through pictures and videos. The entire process was so stress free and honestly one of the funnest parts of planning my wedding! Every other part of wedding planning needs a Claudia bc usually I’m a very frazzled and overwhelmed person. Her vision and customer service is unmatched. She is so thoughtful, patient and intensive, I could tell she didn’t just care about how the dress looked, but how i felt in it and I truly felt so beautiful, so confident, and so seen on my wedding day🥰and that is entirely because of her work. If you are even considering trusting someone with something as important as your wedding dress, stop searching and go to her. What she does is not just alterations, it’s transformation, storytelling, and pure artistry. I will be grateful to her forever. 💛
