They have been in the area for years, always honest and kind. They have wool, purse findings, linen, and all the quilt supplies you could wish for. If they don’t have it in stock they are happy to order and take care of you. I love going down to the shop. I used to work for a competing shop, but love going here!!

Of all quilt shops I’ve ever visited, Las Colchas has stolen my heart, body, and soul. I walk into that sweet little antique house and I find inspiration on every wall, table, shelf, and corner. If I owned a quilt shop this would be exactly how I would do it. ❤️

Look at what I bought from Las Colchas. It's so cute and will remind me of my trip to San Antonio. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Their shop has a lot to offer a quilter from Wisconsin.

There is so much to see in this wonderful shop! The store looks small from the street, but it's a large labyrinth of rooms with a wonderfull selection of fabrics! I came in looking for a wool embroidery kit and some floss. I found just what i needed. The ladies there were all so helpful! They have an annual Christmas themed lap quilt in a kit. I loved the store sample of it and ended up getting one to make for this holiday season. What really surprised me was the apparel fabric and the canvas. I'll be making a nice linen top and a fun canvas apron with the fabric that I bought today! I look forward to my next trip out this way. Las Colchas is on my "must visit" list from now on - in so glad that I found them! It's a "don't miss" shop if you're in the San Antonio area.
