At one time this was my go to store for caps but the customer service is so bad I never go in there any more. You are lucky if employees even look up from their phones to realize you are there.

I’m not even sure why you have an employee there…. Dude hides behind the embroidery machine where no one can see him with 4 customers in the store looking around like “who works here?” Definitely not that guy. Finally found him and asked him to get a hat down for me he said they don’t carry size 7 5/8 in the store cause it’s too big…. If you’re gonna lie to my face you’ve gotta have a better lie. Ridiculous that people like him have jobs, he could care less about making a sale.

Been standing outside the door since 10am, employee saw me, no acknowledgment. Per Google they are open. I need one additional item for my Salvation Army Angel! Cmon people.

We shop at Lids in numerous cities in Texas. We went to the store in the mall in Tyler today. We were going to purchase a hard sided carry case for $27.99-the price marked on the store tag. The salesman said it was $38-something. I showed him their sales tag and he said that he couldn’t do anything about since it rang up the other price. Ridiculous. Why would I pay more than your store advertised. This wasn’t a sale price, it was the regular price.

So I went in to purchase a NY Yankee hat. I grabbed the first navy blue one that I saw and went to pay for it. The smart aleck young man ,who was less than any help, said it was $27.99 plus tax regardless of what the sticker said. I asked for the manager and he informed me that he was the manager. I asked for the owner’s number and he gave me one to which I called and left a message. I haven’t heard back yet. If I had picked up the cap and it said $27.99 I still would’ve purchased it but to have the label read $24.00 and refuse to sale it at that price is inexcusable. It’s the principle! My advice is go somewhere else to buy your hats!
