I am not someone who normally leaves negative reviews, but this was a extremely poor experience from start to finish. The experience was made worse by the way the situation was handled by Alex, the owner, and Ulises, the embroidery manager. The issue went beyond the poor embroidery quality. It was the poor communication, lack of accountability, and very poor customer service that followed. We brought in over 10 new scrub tops to Chicago Uniform Company for embroidery. The scrubs cost $700, and the embroidery cost $140. Before the work was started, we gave very clear instructions that each letter should be embroidered separately and cleanly, not connected or crowded together. We showed examples of what we wanted and what we did not want, and spent 30 minutes reviewing the instructions in person. The final embroidery came out extremely sloppy. The lettering was nothing like the mock-up we approved before the work was started. The letters were crowded and connected, making it difficult to read. There were loose and snagged threads throughout, and the finished work did not look clean or professional. The process took almost three weeks. During that time, we had to make multiple trips to the store and spent hours trying to get the issue resolved. When we raised concerns, Ulises was dismissive and said the work looked “fine to him,” even though he also acknowledged that a mistake was made because the setting that was supposed to separate the letters was not turned on. He described it as a “simple miscommunication,” but that miscommunication left us with over 10 new scrub tops with low quality embroidery. Alex was not helpful in resolving the situation. He said he could not do anything about it, and after about an hour in the store going back and forth, he offered a $50 refund despite the $140 embroidery charge and the $700 in new scrubs affected by the work. When I said I would leave an honest review, Alex raised his voice and told me that if I left a bad review, he would not refund anything and that I would get $0 back. The final result was no refund because I was not willing to stay quiet about this unprofessional experience in exchange for $50. Save your time, money, and frustration and take your embroidery work elsewhere. I would pay significantly more to avoid dealing with this type of situation again.

It was many years ago when I bought my uniform from there but I believe it was ran by some jewish guy with a crappy attitude. Edit: Yes my review is old and I forgot to post it but felt it was necessary as I was treated poorly. The man stated how much the cost was and asked how I would pay to which I replied by card. Then proceeded to say"Well, it's not gonna pay for itself". It may have been a lack of communication on my part but I thought he had a card reader behind the large desk he was sitting but he didn't. Then he sat my card on top of the desk (for all to see) and starts writing down my payment information. It was one of the worst experiences. Please excuse me for not providing details but when I have experiences this bad, I have to write about it. If you think my bad review leaves a stain on your business that is unfortunate, but as my name implies, I always tell the truth and honesty, I think you'll survive, particularly if you make the necessary changes.

What i love about this particular uniform store. One its a one stop shop. Second the customer service is excellent. Third, the staff are professional and will get you right. The staff works together to prepare the security and the first responders to look shrap for the public. I highly recommend this place.
