The owner/Instructor is phenomenal at teaching beginners sewing for all levels. The environment is welcoming and develops creativity to foster design. Highly recommend this place to elevate your life skills as a craft, hobby or learning experience!

I loved learning with Cherice, her classes are very informative and she is so welcoming. I went from knowing nothing to being able to make some of my own clothes. She also takes her time helping you and really wants your projects to come out looking perfect (she took so much time helping me line up some difficult plaid fabric I chose). I would love to be able to take classes again, great atmosphere and I miss all the women I got to know during my night classes. So, if you are thinking of taking sewing classes, I highly recommend signing up for a course here. I know you won’t regret it.

I recently finished level 1, our instructor Cherice had so much patience and her guidance made sewing very approachable. I was able to learn all the basics needed to do minor repairs to my clothes and have the confidence to finally sit at a sewing machine. Highly recommend!

Time flies when you're having fun.. Making It Sew Fun lives up to its name! I have wanted to learn to sew for years but the thought of struggling to teach myself deterred me from moving forward with the idea. I'm finishing the last level 1 lesson today and I am very impressed by Cherice's class. The information is presented in an easy to understand manner and Cherice has a very patient and kind demeanor. I love the small class size as it allows everyone to get personalized attention as we're working on our project. I've already signed up for Level 2 and I highly recommend Making It Sew Fun to anyone looking to learn to sew (or improve upon their existing knowledge).

My husband and I are taking our second set of classes with Cherice. My husband and I both agreed after our very first class that we learned more in one class than all the other classes we’ve taken. 🤗 Cherice has a wealth of knowledge about sewing, but more importantly she knows how to share her expertise with her students. Her classes are designed to help any level sewer gain skills as they progress through her classes I’ve taken classes before and really didn’t learn much because the classes were too large and the classes did not have levels like Cherice has at Making it sewing fun. If you are thinking about taking a sewing class don’t hesitate to take her classes you will not regret it.
