I came in for the machine basics class, and our instructor Anika was absolutely fabulous! She was attentive, easy to understand, and caring ☺️. I left with a much better grasp of my sewing machine and how to best utilize it! Will definitely come again.

I took the serger basics class and omg life changing! I had a serger for a few years and “leaned” how to use it from YouTube videos. Needless to say, I needed this class! There is so much I learned in a very little time. The picture in the pink fabric is from before class. Immediately after, I put my new knowledge to work. The pictures in the darker fabric is from after class. Such a dramatic change! The seams are clean and even! I am overjoyed!

I've been wanting to learn to sew and received the Sewing Machine Crash Course as a gift! The staff are so helpful and kind. The classes are paced well, so no one feels left behind. For the second class I brought in fabric and a pattern for a bag. I was worried I'd make a very visible mistake, but they helped calm my nerves. I was unable to finish my bag by the end of the course. However, they have open studio nights you can book to finish up projects you started in class. I was able to go in for open studio and finish my bag. Again, they were so helpful and patient with me. My bag isn't perfect but I think it turned out cute!

I took the Crash Course #1 sewing lesson here to learn how to sew, hem, and alter my own clothes, and honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. I left feeling empowered and genuinely excited about sewing. Now I hem my own pants all the time, and the skills I learned have already paid off in such a practical way. As a gay Latino man, feeling comfortable and welcome in a new space really matters to me and this studio exceeded my expectations. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging. There was absolutely no judgement, just a supportive environment where I felt free to ask questions and learn at my own pace. On top of that, the studio itself is beautiful, bright, organized, and such a lovely place to spend time learning. This class gave me confidence, independence, and a skill I'll use for the rest of my life. I can't recommend it enough.
