This place is a treasure! It was a bit of a drive for me but so worth it. I came in with some questions on 2 vintage/antique sewing machines I recently acquired. They were very knowledgeable and willing to share any information on where else I could find oil or grease if they didn't have any in stock. Will definitely be back.

Upon reading the reviews here, I think someone else had interacted with the same person I did. I called with a simple question about a part on my machine and what it is called so I can order it myself. She asked zero questions about what I was trying to do with the part. I explained that it's the piece that holds the bobbin case and she insisted that it was the bobbin case that I was describing. However, I have been looking online at parts as well as my owners manual and it is not. She was incredibly rude and argumentative and insisted that I just bring my machine in to them to work on it. It really is unfortunate that my first and only interaction with this place was like this. Truly it is people like this that discourage individuals from starting/continuing a hobby. Gatekeeping and forcing people to pay unreasonable prices to keep their machines up and running is probably one of the biggest reasons that the younger generation has no interest in learning from the older generation. It is a huge "I'm right, you're stupid and you can't ask questions and do your own research" mentality. Singer-do better with finding more patient and compassionate employees and maybe sewing won't become such a dying hobby.

On February 26th, I came into the store to make a purchase. I bought this singer sewing machine with the help of the manager there. I'm not sure what his name was but he was so helpful and knowledgeable. He explained the different sewing machines for me and I ended up finding one that was a good fit! I really appreciated his knowledge, expertise, and how fast and efficient he was. He was helping so many people and answering their questions so quickly. By the time I walked in and left, he helped about 4-5 people. Meanwhile, the woman employee helped 1 person who did not even end up buying anything from the store. She seemed a bit unfriendly and didn't have any interest helping others. Very unfortunate. Needless to say, I will be back and shout out to the manager who was working in the morning that day! The process was quick and smooth.

This store is the best! The staff are so knowledgeable and nice. They quickly and easily identified the problem with my machine and solved it on the spot. They have helped me with both my 1950 Singer Featherweight and my 2024 Juki TL-18QVP. This store is a gem!
