LOVE Needles & Bolts! The staff is knowledgeable and always a joy. I've shopped in store, online, and they have gift cards. Shipping is fast and I was contacted promptly to clarify my questions about a product. They always seem to have exactly what I need. Highly recommend ❤️

You can't go wrong at Needles & Bolts! Stella has such a great eye for modern fabrics, I fall in love with something else every time I turn around. There's a welcoming, supportive vibe, and they offer lots of great classes to encourage you on your sewing journey.

I recently bought a jelly roll of Designer Libs Elliott fabrics and used the pattern Stella suggested! It went together quick, fast and Easy! Love the result!

Fantastic shop! Beautiful selection of fabric and other supplies. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Especially for beginners. They also offer a ton of classes. My daughters and I took a holiday class and had a great time.

Drove over an hour for the sew-in day last weekend and it was so worth it! The shop is absolutely gorgeously curated- I wanted every single fabric on the shelves. The makerspace is comfortable and user-friendly and I had an excellent time working on my project and getting to know some new quilty folks. Can't say enough about how great this place is. Will be back!

Believe the reviews about this place. I’m not a quilter but am working with someone to finish a piece from a relative. Staff here are knowledgeable and excited to assist! I appreciated having some time and space to weigh my options and there were a great group of shoppers who were all invested in each other’s projects. I definitely recommend this if you’re like me and don’t know where to start. I’ll definitely be back!

Had an absolutely amazing time at Grown-up Summer Camp! Created with a wonderful group of ladies under the guidance of Needles & Bolts staff and local artists.

Took the Quilting 101 class with a friend and had the best time! The instructor Hilary was so sweet, helpful, and patient. She met each student at their own pace and all of us had a beautiful finished quilt by the end of the day. The staff are always so helpful while shopping too, and they remember me when I come back. I love this store and I’ll be back for another class for sure!

Needles and Bolts is the best little sew shop! They have a really good selection of fabrics, and everyone that works there is incredibly helpful, patient, and interested in what you're working on. I made a little decorative quilt (my first ever!) for a friend's wedding with the help of the shop - I certainly would not have been able to finish it without them! The open sews are so fun and such a good opportunity to meet people! If you're looking for a great sewing store in Mt. Airy, look no further!

Have you ever walked into a store that immediately made you happy? Needles & Bolt is a bright, charming, happy shop. The owner, Stella, is a delight. I wanted to make my first quilt as a gift for my cousin’s baby. She was so patient with me as I picked out fabric and gave me suggestions of different ways to block it together. Her love of quilting made me even more excited to get started! Since then, I’ve completed my first quilt and have purchased fabric from Needles & Bolts for three more projects (I have already completed the top of one of them!)
