This is simply the best needlepoint store. I have made several online purchases and their service is wonderful. Recently, I ordered a canvas with many different colors. They beautifully pulled 30 different threads for this canvas, matching the multiple colors perfectly . I almost drove the 145 or so miles from Alexandria, VA to Philadelphia to pick this up in person. I ended up having them mail it and it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend them for online purchases. The service and communication were excellent !!

What a gem!! We stopped in today to get a canvas and supplies for my second needlepoint project. I was blown away by the variety of materials stocked as well as all the auxiliaries you could ever need — books, bags, anything!! I know next to nothing and was specifically looking to focus on learning and going “all in” on how to needlepoint. Jarrett (so sorry if I misspelled!) was so incredibly helpful and DELIGHTFUL to talk to. I had so much fun learning about threads and materials. I had one million questions and felt comfortable asking all of them, and left with a beautiful canvas and threads that will help me learn!! Thank you!!

An amazing shop all around! The experience was amazing, starting with the nicest & very helpful lobby security guard to the layout of the space, organization of threads & canvases, and the most helpful staff checking in and answering questions! Can’t wait to be back!

I won't go anywhere else for supplies if I can help it. The store is nice and quiet, cozy, massively friendly and kind, and the largest selection of fiber art supplies I've seen. I love that I can go in and browse, or order for pickup. They also have all manner of finishing and other services. I love this place.

Wow! This shop is insane in so many great ways! The inventory across the board is massive! My favorite shop I have visited so far! And on top of that the stave is amazing. So helpful and kind! This gem is just a few blocks from me and I’m so glad to have found! Highly recommend if you are local or looking for a wide selection! Must visit when in Philly!

Super Needlepoint shop. Selections were a lot. Every type of fiber you can find there. Customer service was excellent. Looking forward to going back while in Philly.

Great selection and great prices! Regular 6 stranded embroidery floss is cheaper here than on Amazon or Michael’s. Most of the staff are also very sweet and super knowledgeable. Alyssa is hands down the best. She is always so willing to help me find whatever I’m looking for. And she even checked what was in stock when I called with a long project list of materials.

The Rittenhouse Finishing Department took my beginner glass case project and made it look like something I would buy in a store! Not only that, but they were very encouraging when I apologized for my beginner clumsy stitch work. I am so happy with the results that I’m going to keep stitching. Thank you Rittenhouse!!

I am torn between a 3/4 for this store, but I don’t want to deter someone with a 3. Not that a 3 is bad, but, just “ok”. It is definitely worth the visit, if you know what to expect. (And my experience, is not everyone’s, of course.) Loved the selection. When I say selection, get ready for a HUGE inventory. Everything is very well organized. Lots of options for all. Needles? Every good brand and then some. Thread? Every color and quality you can imagine. Kits with upcoming season in mind. Books. And more! Location was a pain. The sidewalk sign out front was wonderful, but I didn’t know it was a second floor location. We turned to look for the door, confused, there was no signage on the building. Customer service was lacking. We got a “hello” as we entered and that was it. No offer of assistance while we shopped or even chit chat. It was like we weren’t even there. Prices are high. This is not a beginner store. The quality is good, but the prices are high. Lots of thread, wanted to see more yarn. Would have walked out with a ton, if we got some help. I run a sewing business - quilting, bags, clothing and am starting to dabble in embroidery, but needed some help or info, I guess.
